We stayed in the room with shared shower and toilet. Everything was so clean, we didnt even notice we were sharing (and we only shared with one other room, so it wasn't a big deal. Plus, it meant we got to stay in Amsterdam for a steal! We had a HUGE room (couch included), the staff were really friendly and...

I stayed with two other 60ish women at the Canal House property, across the canal from the Tulips B&B. I am not sure how we found out about this place, but it was a very fortunate find. The apartment was on the first floor and while the steps were steep, they were more than manageable. A living room kitchen area,...

We stayed here in April 2011, a couple and two girls, ages 13 and 9. Our room was clean and pleasant, with a nice garden outside the window. We enjoyed being near the Vondelpark, but it was a fair ways from the city center. Our last day there was a public transit strike, so we didn't make a planned last...

A very helpful and welcoming greeting by Paul, the owner. We stayed at the canal house. Lovely and clean. great views and useful to have own kitchen. Good local shops and restaurants. Easy to get to the centre by tram or on foot. Stairs very narrow, but in keepling with the traditional canal house.

Paul and Karen are very thoughtful and helpful. You get maps and all the navigation tips you need. The rooms are large and nicely appointed. We loved the neighborhood and the walk through Vondel Park or through the really great neighborhood on the way to the Museum District.

At the start of our 4 night stay we had a pleasant and helpful welcome from the owner. The room was large, clean and warm. The en suite shower room was very efficient and there was always plenty of hot water. We had a room on the top floor and the stairs are very scary - and by British standards...

Paul and Karen here from Bed and Breakfast Amsterdam. Glynis we have just read the review you wrote about our Bed and Breakfast and where horrified to read how disappointed you where! We, in turn, are also disappointed and, in truth, feel hurt by some of your comments and specially because you rate the value of our B&B as only...

It was a warm and friendly welcome! after introducing us to our room, the householder showed us the map of the area and the city map, then showed us where to go, how to get to the city center. it took about 20 mins by walking to the city center, which isn't even that far. if you want to take...

Very nice B&B, we stayed in the 'suite' which was very spacious and overlooked the canal, walk out balcony t the back. Very clean and tidy. The B&B is only 100m from the park and then the town centre is just the other side of the park, so 25min walk and you are right in the centre, which was ideal...

We stayed in this B&B for 3 nights during February 2011. We were impressed to realize that we actually had our own apartment - our own kitchen which was well equipped with a variety of cereals.. a room with shower.. another room with toilet and of course the bed room which was impecabbly decorated with warm red colours.. every day...
