We stayed at the Times Hotel mid week in November The staff were most welcoming and helpful and the hotel very well positioned in the canal district and for exploring Amsterdam Our room was a small additional premium on the price as 'canal view' but was very 'bijoux' and quite dark. Also the canal view was through a low set... More

Would never stay here again they charged me for my room twice and when I figured it out they refused to give me my money back saying the manager wasn't there to give it but yet when I wouldn't leave without it and caused a scene then they just so happened to get it for me. They tried to say... More

We have spent 3 nights in Times hotel. Location is really great, just one street from main and busy Square, but calm to have a rest. Especially recommended canal view room! Indeed, room and bathroom were small, narrow staircase, but I assume it is common in Amsterdam. Small downside to mention and just be prepared for was long waiting time... More

This small hotel is hereby recommended. Greaat location. Simple but nice breakfast (to buy). Small, but clean rooms. But, hey, who is travelling to Amsterdam to stay in their room? Friendly staff. Walking distance to most.

Stayed at the times hotel for one night, would have stayed longer but was fully booked. Great hotel on the edge of Jordaan area, I have stayed in Amsterdam a few times always in the canter area, this time decided to stay in one of the classic canal street areas, great choice, friendly and helpful staff, had a great room... Value for money hotel. Clean and quiet rooms. Walking distance from city centre and train station. Excellent service and attitude from staff. Situated in a quiet area with canal view. Also you can ask for free bicycle rental.

I have stayed in small rooms before but the room was unpleasant to be in. Badly designed too. Instead of a wardrobe, they could have had hooks on the walls and created a place to open your bags. A conference was taking place in Amsterdam so it was outrageously expensive. Great location.

The Times hotel is a great hotel at a superb location in Amsterdam, right on one of the beautiful canals. Rooms recently renovated, clean, comfortable. Friendly staff. 24 hr reception. Good price for value. Just a great hotel!

We stayed here for one night in Amsterdam, and were very pleased. The location is central and on a really scenic street. The bedroom was small but cozy. Staff and reception were very friendly. There was a lovely Dutch Renaissance above the bed, which was nice touch. As mentioned in other reviews, the doors do open and close like a... More
