A perfect stay for 3 nights. I requested a small single room but for one person it's enough. Comfortable bed, very quiet at night and very good location (15 minutes walking from Dam Square). Staff very nice and helpful (thanks Bart for all your help) and I won't hesitate to come here next time.

I enjoyed my stay at Freeland hotel. This is a great budget hotel in a very convenient location - not far from museums or from Central station. The hotel was very clean and the staff are friendly. I was able to get enough sleep - the bed was comfy and there was not a lot of noise. The only cons... More

As all city center hotels, those stairs are a pain, specially if brining more than one luggage. The staff was not friendly at all. Rooms are ok, beds are always falling from the box. The cleanliness is acceptable. Location is good. Close to many restaurants. But it's not worth the value. Sorry.

A decent budget option in heart of Amsterdam with hot breakfast @Euro 7 ...It's a typical Dutch family run mid size hotel ... friendly, and great location!! However, steep staircase may be a dampener for elderly guests ...Don't expect room service or anything fancy...but you get good value for your money and a great location to spend quality time in... Situated in very central location in an area that has a lot of restaurant and shopping. It can be a little noisy at night with bars located across the street, but overall, it is a good place to be. A lot so museums are close by

The Freeland is convenient to absolutely everything you would want to see in Amsterdam. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast is fine. The rooms, however, are very small. Given its location, the price is excellent.

We stayed as part of a STAG group. We had several triple rooms of which all were clean and fairly spacious. They were very basic and could probably do with a lick of paint. Everyone in the group said that the beds were comfortable too. The bathroom's were very basic, but again clean. The reception staff were very helpful and... More

Hotel Freeland was a decent budget hotel. It was my second time there. The hotel felt very safe. Commons areas are very luminous and clean (Others expensives hotels are so dark, dirty and "cheap"). Room was small but definitely enough for one person (remember this is a two star hotel!). Simple style but clean and functional. There is a water... More

The good: Location close to the major city attractions and the great restaurants of the Leidseplein area. Great bed. Close to public transportation. Very helpful front desk(save one). The not-so-good: Noise from pedestrians and auto horn honking. Steep stairs between floors. Lack of hooks for coats, towels.

We stayed at this hotel in the Easter holidays last year as my mum recommended it as she previously stayed here. It's very friendly and we were given lots of information on arrival with a map. Our room was lovely and had a door that opened to a small outside garden which was a very nice view to have. The... More
