we have stayed at de stern quite a few times when in the dam we always try to get to stay here!!!!they've had a bit of a referb since we stayed there 18 months ago our stay was fab as always the room was clean & warm the staff was helpful to the point of putting us on a lowwer...

The location was excellent, with tram access direct from the station and within managable walking distance to many interesting sites. The staff were most helpful and were the only hotel on our stay in Europe to offer help to get our luggage up the narrow stairs. The rooms were a bit cramped and the private bathroom was outside the room....

i stayed at this hotel with two other friends we booked the 4 person room which was just enough space for alll of us. the hotel is excellently located and the staff are very helpful! i really enjoyed my stay at this hotel and would certainly stay again!

300 euros for what is actually a hostel is way too expensive. No receipt given and I had to pay in cash to some blike selling kebabs! I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone!

I`ve stayed here at the end of March, with a few friends. It was the cheapest option we had, having in mind that we booked only a few days before going there. The 1 star rating says everything about the place, the conditions were not very good, but at least the room was (approximately) clean. The staff didn`t speak too...

Average hotel, for the price we paid and the amount of time spent there worth the money. We were allocated a room on the 3rd floor stairs were a bit of a nightmare but that is the same with most places in Amsterdam. Room was clean and spacious enough, very good location, The number 9 tram runs to central every...
