Tucked in a great location, the hotel was easy to locate and everything was within walkable distance. The staff were extremely friendly and the room was clean, so there is really nothing to complain about. Will definitely be back if I were to plan another holiday in Amsterdam!

Me and my partner stayed here after being let down with a private apartment nearby, after trawling the streets of Amsterdam looking for room vacancies at a price that wouldn't ruin our stay, we came across this hotel, we stayed here for one night and I can honestly say that, although I wouldn't have booked somewhere like this, we where...

Everything you need for a stay in an expensive city at low prices - (a separate room with comfortable beds and a separate bath). The location and the window view compensate the lack of luxury. The staff is polite.

Don't take your car! Parking is a b1tsch in Amsterdam and expensive if you can find it. We found a parking lot across the bridge in a hotel luckily at 10€ a day. This was recommended to us from the hotel. Luckily.

If you want a hotel close to the train station and close to the Red Light District but don't want to spend much and don't mind a bit of a rough room this is the place for you. It was fit for purpose for us, simply a place to have a shower and get changed and put your head down...

Staying in Centrum

Neighbourhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.

“You want a room looking out to the front of the hotel”

“Noisy and cold room, with a permanent bad smell from the bathroom's pipes, we thought. Noisy because the windows were very big, leading to the main road with a lot of traffic and noisy partywanderers at night. Besides, they didn't close well and that's the same reason why it was cold. However, there was heating in the room, but it was never on. Apart from that, the Internet connection was really poor.”

“i think you should ask for a lower appurtenant but if u dont care to go up 3 floors so it dose not meter i think the upper apartment are more clean? תבקשו חדר בקומה נמוכה כי זה סיוט המדרגות באמטרדם עם המזוודות , אבל אם לא אכפת לכם אז אני חושב שהחדרים בקומות העליונות יותר נקיים”
