We stayed in one of these 'apartments' for 2 nights and paid 280 euros and I would warn anyone not to make the same mistake that we did. This accomodation is not an apartment, it's one room underneath the hosts apartment, which is made obvious as you can hear every word that they say through the wall. We arrived at...

Unbelievable apartment great for small groups, just outside city centre close enough to walk and far enough away to get a good night sleep. Our host was fantastic and welcoming. Perfect for coffeeshop smokers as you can smoke in the room which even comes with its own bong cupboard! Cannot wait to stay here again

We have just come back from our stay and it was the absolute lowlight of our long awaited holiday to Amsterdam!! When we when we first arrived our host Katia rang us twice to see where we were ( check in is at 2, this was at 1). So we made our way to the apartment and arrived at 13.45....

Stayed here with a few friends. Walking distance to the centre and the station. The apartments were clean and comfortable enough for our couple of days. Find it hard to believe any one could find any big issues. The landlord was helpful, very few basic rules and some basic foodstuffs were available. Smoking was allowed which just made it a nicer...

Been staying in these apartments for last 4 seasons in the row and just because of the simple reason - Landlords. Not only that they helped me more than they are suppose to but they did extra mile in anything they were required! I am so upset since I saw the last comment from Joanna Ticino, that I personally could...

A severe warning for this absolute overpriced accomodation. There are a lot of hotels in the city where you pay less and get so much more. I paid 130 EUR as a single person per night without breakfast and had the badest service I ever had in my life... The room is not very clean - very old and dirty...

If you are not a friend of group hostels nemo apartments might be the right choice for you. The owner was very kind and helpful, the apartment itself clean and located pretty central. We had a two floor apartment, kitchen, bathroom, tv on one floor. Beds on the top floor. We paid 35 per night + city taxes. Smoking was...

Having stayed in a variety of places in amsterdam this has to be best all rounder,we had a fairly compact apartment just around the corner from the actual Nemo's main place, it has everything you need in a great location 5 mins walk to the RLD area. The landlady was nice and helpful, the place was clean and tidy with...

We stayed in the Navy room for three nights and were really happy with the apartment. The stairs are steep, as people have said, but it's an old building so what do you expect. It's worth the climb to get to the nice apartment at the top. The owner was great, really friendly and gave us lots of suggestions about...

Neighbourhood Profile
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.

“Top floor apartment is best as Katy cannot hear you here and therefore shouldn't come up prying and looking around”

“Not sure about the other building, but the building we were in had lovely views of the neuiwe herenracht canal from one side. The top floor is strongly recommended if you liked a cosey roof conversion (Lots of space) but be warned, the last set of stairs are pretty steep :P”
