A well located hotel off the Museumplein. Clean and nice room. Staff very pleasant and nice bar onsite that was open late. Hotel was easy to find and even very accessible to the airport bus line, so no need to go to Centraal Station to catch a train.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel, having seen some mixed reviews on various websites. but considering the location and the price (for a european city centre hotel), it is excellent value. Facilities are perfectly adequate given that we're not coming to spend all day in the hotel room(!) Access to transit and museums couldn't be better (rijksmuseum is maybe...

Great buzzing hotel. Lovely breakfast. Room was a bit small. Overall happy. Quite a walk to the centre. Friendly staff. Pretty much left to it which was nice. Overpriced snacks. Overpriced travel plug and phone charger. Remember to take your own!

Clean and cozy room; Location is near of the best museums and tourism services; I thought the breakfast expensive, but there are a lot of bars near of the hotel to eat; The value of the daily rate is consistent with what the hotel offers;

Excellent location. Room was very small. My booking indicated that breakfast was included but it was not. Not sure what you are asking here. I am done responding. Please do not e-mail me anymore. Thank you.

Nice view, great location, good breakfast. Elevators with views of channels. The staff was so kind. Close to Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum. Unfortunately, the room was just ok. Clean, but no amenities.

Great room and location near the top museums. Nice breakfast buffet and friendly service all around. Transportation by canal boat is convenient and only a short walk to numerous restaurants and shopping area.

Came here for two days in April over Easter, the service was good and in general the hotel was clean and well equipped. They let us leave our bags in the hotel as we checked out ages before our flight and also were very helpful with getting us cabs around Amsterdam/ advice on where we should go. The hotel is...

Staying in Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)

Neighbourhood Profile
Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)
Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark, the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping destinations of PC Hooftstraat, Van Baerlestraat, Cornelis Schuytstraat, and Jacob Obrechtstraat, where even the shop window displays are of museum quality. In the evenings, when the museums close and the daytrippers head home, the area becomes a quiet oasis of calm with a sophisticated and urbane tone.
