We stayed in Feb and unforutnatley picked a wet and rainy week! However, we were lucky to be staying in such a lovely appartment. It is spacious, clean and modern. The host was very friendly and attentive. The only problem we had was that the window kept opening on its own which wasnt great because of the weather and we... More

Friendly service and we got good information about everything in the aparment. Stayded 4 nights and they even changed towels inbetween and got more coffee, shampoos etc. Down stairs is... More

As much as I would love to recommend this place I cannot recommend you stay here during any semi-warm months. The place heats up during the day to pretty uncomfortable levels and the only thing to cool down with is a small rotating fan. You can open the windows to let in some cool air but you will also let... More

We live in the apartment Ruby for 10 days. The apartment was perfect, with view to the canal. The room was very clean and lovingly decorated and the keeper was very friendly and helpful. Also the location was perfect. You'll find a lot of restaurants, shops and a supermarket within a view steps. We would go back anytime.

We went for a long weekend and stayed in the emerald apartment, on arrival the hosts were extremely helpful and allowed us to leave our bags there until our room was ready! The apartment was on the Fifth floor with steep steps but by no means was this a problem. The room was beautiful with a comfy bed and plenty... More

We've just come back from staying in the Pearl Apartment, Sunday to Thursday. When we arrived the hallway and steep narrow stairs, didn't give a good impression of what was behind the door to the apartment. Inside is a modern and well equipped room. Everything you could possibly want with a light and modern decor. It's good that the toilet... More

We stayed in the 'Ruby Apartment' over Christmas and once again had a great stay. The room was well looked after and clean throughout, it's also very well equipped for a short stay. The Jewel Apartments are spread across 2 separate typical dutch canal houses on opposite sides of the Singel, this building again has a great location on the... More

Just returned from our Thursday to Sunday stay and cannot say enough positive things about our apartment. We stayed in the "Ruby" which is a perfect spot for a couple looking for a lovely, romantic getaway. The location is very central and we walked everywhere, never took any public transport. There is a supermarket just around the corner and plenty... More

These apartments are amazing, centrally located, immaculate and highly recommended to anyone who wants a special place to stay. We've visited Amsterdam many times before and stayed in hotels, this time are stay far out weighed previous visits. Having the luxury of being able to cook, and pop back to apartment certainly made this visit a lot more relaxing. We... More

Stayed three nights in the 'Pearl' apartment, perfect location and setup for a couple. Good quality apartment with wonderful windows out onto the canal, small bathroom but clean and functional. Excellent base for exploring Amsterdam and feeling like a local. Organising our stay with the owners was seamless and on arrival we were met and given a comprehensive introduction to... More

Staying in Centrum

Neighbourhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
