What a great hotel! Great location - right by the arena but close enough to the train station that goes right into Amsterdam downtown for sightseeing. Super comfortable beds, spacious rooms and wonderful staff. There is a small restaurant on site and the food was so good (especially the fries!). If you need to stay in Amsterdam for a show, this is a great option that still allows you access for going into Amsterdam for some sights.

The hotel is designed around the concept of music, you would see pictures with music instruments in the elevator, music in the hallway towards your room and so on. The room was cozy, I had a good view to the football training fields and could enjoy the sunset. The room was properly cleaned but it was missing the signs that it has been COVID disinfected that I noticed the cleaning lady was adding to other rooms. I had good quality sleep, the bed was very good, same the ceiling shower and the start / stop buttons incorporated in the wall. There was also floor heating in the bathroom. I was happy to have a coffee machine in the room. The other drinks amenities were missing in the fridge, there was only sparkling water but with a QR code you could order anything from downstairs in the room. The room temperature was bit cold but that that could have been adjusted if needed. The gym upstairs is basic, only running bands and a couple of weights but they are Technogym quality so that was a nice experience as well. The reception was helpful and respectful, I got to have a quick check in and all my questions were answered, quick booking to the gym and so on. One thing that I disliked is that the deposit payed for the room by card cannot be returned to the card but it needs to be given cash. Most of the hotels are cash free now so I was expecting this from Jaz as well. The location is walking distance (5-7 min to Bijlmer Arena that will connect you to all Netherlands by train and Schiphol airport). The hotel is next to the stadium and there were no games or concerts going on, not sure about the sound proof. Overall, a very positive experience and I enjoyed my stay.

Its interior attracted me from the pictures that Hotels.com provides, and most of the hotels with a cute design are usually very expensive in Amsterdam, especially in downtown.

The location is very convenient since the hotel is in between two stations, Strandvliet and Bijlmer ArenA, which I was amazed, I worried about the transportation of going to the city center and other cities before I checked-in. But, this location is incredible; I can get to Schiphol Airport and Utrecht within 20 mins directly, also going to Den Haag and Rotterdam around 1 hour from Bijlmer ArenA, allows me to do some day-trips in other cities, which erased all my previous concerns.

All in all, I spent a fantastic eight nights here, and I will come again when I visit Holland, as well as trying to stay in other Jaz hotels in the future.

Stayed here for 4 nights in October 22. The hotel is bright clean and modern and the rooms are large and well equipped. The staff were friendly and helpful and of course they all spoke excellent English. On the one day we had breakfast in the hotel the selection of food was very good and the breakfast room was kept very clean and used plates were removed quickly The only two negative points were that overall the hotel is rather bland and corporate in nature. This is not a chic boutique hotel. And the drinks we purchased in the hotel bar were expensive at €19 for a single G&T and a beer. The hotel is a fair distance out of the city centre but get a GVB travel pass for Amsterdams excellent public transport system and that is no problem. The nearest metro station is 5 minutes walk away The hotel is beside the Ajax football stadium so we used the opportunity to take in a game.

The location was the top for us since we were attending a concert at Ziggo Dome. It was so convenient to walk next door and then spend the night at Jaz. Check in was pleasant and the room was well equipped. We especially appreciated the sound proof rooms, room darkening shades, and the modern shower. The hotel had a positive vibe mostly created by the friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. Music was the theme of the hotel and Rhythms bar did not disappoint. Even though it was very crowded at 5 p.m., we managed to find a seat and get decent service. A DJ helped create a fun atmosphere and the music was great. The breakfast is well worth the cost and nicely presented as a buffet with different stations. Parking under the hotel was convenient but costly. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at Jaz in the City for 2 nights and it was an excellent choice for our city break accommodation.

The hotel isn't quite in the centre of Amsterdam but that shouldn't deter anyone. Its transit links are excellent with a local station that's served by regular trains. Not to mention, we were able to get to any destinations in about 20 minutes.

Within walking distance, there were local amenities and eateries and we didn't feel the location in any way compromised our stay.

The hotel itself is ideal for a city break. The decor is contemporary in the communal areas and the rooms are uncluttered while being adequately furnished. The bed linen was of a good quality and lighting was generally good. On the latter, it's a minor point that the hotel could perhaps consider.

The bathroom boasts and excellent shower with great pressure. The bathroom does have very good lighting and the basic amenities are provided and to a good standard. Towels were also to a good standard and didn't moult on use.

The hotel gym was well equipped with free weights and a reasonable selection of machines. Certainly sufficient for a decent workout. Staff were very friendly and the hotel was kept to a high standard of cleanliness throughout.

We'd certainly stay here on a subsequent visit to Amsterdam would highly recommend Jaz in the City without any reservations whatsoever.

One month after finalizing our reservation, the structure canceled it in the middle of the night without any reason, sending an email at 1 am saying that if we had not confirmed the credit card details (perfectly valid and in progress, used daily for reservations and purchases ) within 6 hours (therefore between 1 am and 7 am) they would have canceled the reservation. At 8 in the morning I saw my booking canceled. After contacting the structure, even with the kind assistance of Booking(dot)com from which I had booked, the structure refused to restore the reservation, suggesting to rebook: too bad that the same room, once available, was now 130 euros more for the week of our interest! I have walking problems, which was also communicated to the structure, and they never deigned to answer. We had chosen this accommodation because of its location, and we are experienced travellers, we never had such problems before. I strongly suggest booking elsewhere if you don't want surprises.

Jaz Hotel is situated right next door to the Johan Cruyff Arena and Ziggo Dome making it the perfect stay for gigs or football. It is a short Metro ride from both the airport and Amsterdam Central station. The airport is about 10 minutes away and Amsterdam Central 20-25 mins.

Check in staff were super friendly and helpful throughout and the rooms are very comfy and modern. The food in the hotel bar/restaurant is great and reasonably priced - as were the cocktails. Very impressed with Jaz in the City, would definitely visit again.

Excellent location if you are going to Ziggo Dome, it’s right next door. The hotel has a cool, music fee so great for music lovers like us. The room was immaculately clean and a good size with a great shower. We loved the music speaker in the room. Staff all very friendly. We ended up eating breakfast both days so wish we had pre booked it, breakfast was lovely with a good choice (we are vegetarian and had plenty of options). Sunday they had a live jazz band playing whilst we had breakfast - lovely! It’s an easy train journey into central Amsterdam and very easy to get to and from Schiphol. Would stay here again if visited Amsterdam again and would def recommend to stay here if you are coming to a gig at ziggo, the bar was lively after the gig so a good place to have a drink and not have to travel far after the gig.

It's around 23 euro for 2 people when you check in to pay for it. But the next day will increase the price. So, it will be better to make your decision when you check into the hotel.
