We visited Amsterdam for the first time in early December 2016. We stayed at the Aemstelhuys B&B which greatly enhanced our stay and we stayed for five nights. Lesley, the owner, who grew up in an area close to where we live was great and we had many interesting breakfast chats and her home made pastries and croissants were a...

A beautiful, historic, luxurious B&B. Out-of-this-world breakfasts, gorgeous spacious rooms, perfect bathrooms, and so wonderfully located. Lesley is an incredible host - so friendly (with the best stories), but still gives you your space (during which you wolf down a tonne of freshly-baked pastries). I can't wait to go back.

We stayed here for three nights. Lesley, the host, is warm and professional, and makes excellent breakfasts. She was very responsive to our requests, and was happy to chat and provide advice while respecting our space. The place itself is beautiful, spacious, well-kept, and clean, with good facilities, working Wi-Fi... and did I mention the breakfasts? Every day, fresh pastries...

I stayed at this bed and breakfast at the end of September with my 15 year old daughter. We had the twin bedded room at the top of the house which was perfect for our needs. It was beautifully clean, the main room was spacious and the bathroom small but very practical and again very clean. Breakfast was delicious -...

I stayed here on a long weekend trip to Amsterdam with my mum, the stairs are steep but the rooms are very beautiful. We stayed on the top floor, the beds were very comfortable and it was the perfect temperature. There are many wonderful eateries nearby and most places of interest are within walking distance or a short tram ride...

What a great 3 days and nights! Fantastic hospitality from Leslie who provided a lovely characterful, clean room, beautiful breakfast and lots of interesting conversation and advice. Excellent location just down the road from good quality restaurants and bars, right in the heart of the Unesco area and close to the 'Skinny Bridge'. We'll be back!!

We stayed at the Aemstelhuys B&B last weekend and had a fabulous stay. The basement room was beautifully decorated, clean and very homely. Breakfast was a delicious array of local cheeses and freshly home baked pastries. The host is absolutely lovely, welcoming & genuine. We would love to go back and stay very soon. The location is perfect, right in...

The area that this bed and breakfast is in is so convenient for visiting the museums. The neighbourhood is very quiet, very pretty but close to a variety of restaurants. The No 4 tram delivers you easily from Central station. Lesley, the host, is extremely helpful with advice and suggestions. The breakfasts are delicious. I would definitely stay here again.
