As I told the receptionist this morning at checkout who didn't really seem to care, room 215 is pestered with low frequency noise from the ventilation system. Like sleeping with an idle truck. Further, we did not enjoy standing in line at the, single, coffee machine. You need to rethink the distribution of coffee.

Thank you for your stay and feedback. Our technician will have a look where the noise is coming from. We are sorry for this. When staying, it was very busy. If you are in a hurry, you can order express breakfast and have a cup of coffee at the bar.

As a coeliac, getting GF food in the Netherlands can be more difficult than in the UK but this nice hotel - with great views and located in a lovely little village - was able to cater well for me and tried very hard. We had buffets meals at our conference but they had always prepared something seperate for me - Cling film covered rolls at lunch, separate meal served at dinner etc and some GF snacks at coffee breaks. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

I thought the place was beautiful. Unlike some reviews, everything looked neat as a pin. The history of the place is cool and the art on the walls was amazing. The bathrooms were clean and the staff were very friendly, We, ate at a small fishery next door called Palingrokerij J. B. Plat. It was delicious and very inexpensive.

Checked in late Sunday following travel in awful weather. First room was flooded as water had seeped in under window no doubt driven by violent wind. Given new room immediately. Small room with very little storage space for clothes and bathroom stuff. But nice view of sea front. Buffet breakfast with plenty of choice and lovely fresh rolls. Bar staff seemed inexperienced as could not find drink I asked for without asking someone else. Food adequate.

Dear Miccksw, Thank you for staying with us and for taking the time to write us a review on TripAdvisor. We greatly appreciate all comments made by our guests. How annoying for you to have to move to another room immediately upon arrival in the room! I hope, in addition to the limited space in the room, that you enjoyed your stay and the beautiful view of the IJsselmeer! We are happy to hear that you enjoyed the breakfast buffet! We do indeed have new employees, who unfortunately have not yet been fully trained. But they do their utmost to provide the guests with their drinks. We hope to welcome you again in the near future! Kind regards,
