Great Hotel in Zaandam, peaceful and friendly ambient. Public transport is in walking distance and it takes 20 minutes to reach Amsterdam Central by train. Rooms are nice and cozy, and very clean.The staff is excellent, very helpful and friendly. Also they have complimentary coffee in the lobby which is very good.

The hotel looks hip, but we missed the "soul".
When we arrived there was a large dog poop just next to the door. Too bad none of the staff bothered to clean it up... On day 3 that turd was still there...
The staff is friendly, but they do not care about the hotel.
The breakfast was minimal. We find a large jar of jam and chocolate that already had several knives in it less pleasant. Better provide a spoon and small jars so that we don't find bread or butter from previous guests in those jars... Canned fruit is less tasty.
The room was clean, the bed was good. The bathroom is extremely small.

The hotel is very far from the city center, we paid 116 euros for a taxi. There is nothing to do in the evenings around or inside the hotel. Most importantly, the bed in the room was so small that I slid down from the bed once while sleeping. I do not plan on coming to this hotel again, I do not recommend it to you either.

This hotel is not in a good location for amsterdam. I got the 3 day travel ticket for us all then had to pay extra to get to zaadam. Allow 1 hour to get from hotel to centre of Amsterdam. It can be a trek in and out of zaadam to go.in and out.
The hotel is clean. We stayed 3 nights, our room was never made up, had to ask for fresh towel. It lacks any atmosphere,the welcome was very meagre. It's overpriced , not offering breakfast for a room costing 255 per night. Overpriced and not friendly, I def would be choosing closer to Amsterdam if I come back.

Very pleasant welcome, we immediately asked if we wanted something to drink. Coffee and tea available for free all day. Within walking distance of the center of Zaandam. Room clean and nicely decorated, everything new. Very good beds. Stayed for 2 nights and no noise from outside. A winner and will definitely come back.

My husband & I found this hotel on the website, we arrived to welcoming staff. Room & breakfast were excellent. Management & staff went out of their way to help and trated like family The location was great. We would highly recommend this hotel. Thanks for a great stay.

Very good hotel out of Amsterdam. Only 12min by train to reach central station.
Simple but comfortable room and very good breakfast buffet.
Much cheaper than in Amsterdam center.
