Detailed Reviews
We stayed at Finch with our one year old son and never felt more at ease than here. Staff was super friendly and catered to all of our needs (baby crib, fridge for milk and use of microwave for his food). Styling of the hotel is superb as is the food, coffee options even included oatmilk for the cappuccino which is a nice luxury. Late night bar is classy and the hotel gives a complimentary free drink. All in all I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Deventer.

Had a very good stay! For room, shower, bed, breakfast, friendly service, and a very nice bar, for all times of the day. Everything stylishly decorated, with great taste and an eye for detail. The location is perfect for a city visit, parking in the garage nearby for €10 per 24 hours. In short, a perfect place for a weekend away!

Wow, what a nice hotel! The staff is very friendly and pleasant. The room has a record player with records, the toilet room is large, the shower is fine, the bed is high and large. The pillows are fine, the TV is large and is at the right viewing height. Books in the room. Coffee and tea facilities. The breakfast is crazy. You get it on a platter (bread, spread, smoothie, orange juice, fruit, yogurt).
The location is perfect. Close to the Central Station and the city center.

Everything looks tip top. Nice and helpful staff. When you enter the room, an LP is playing on the record player and you immediately feel welcome. Less than a 5-minute walk from the central parking garage and from the station. Nice room with air conditioning but you can also open a window at night, which I like. No problems with noise on the street or anything. Beautiful spacious walk-in shower and a completely separate toilet. Nice bed with both soft and firm pillows. I will definitely come back next time I'm in Deventer.

A very friendly welcome at reception and also during our stay the service staff were always friendly - you immediately felt at home.
We had room 402 and that was something special for us. Bathtub next to the bed, no closet, but 5 metal hangers. Unfortunately there was no hand basin in the toilet and the toilet had no ventilation. From the room on the ground floor you look directly onto the sidewalk and vice versa if you open the window. The good air conditioning and the large shower were positive.
There was no buffet at breakfast, but it was served on a tray. You could order additional rolls, butter... and the like if you needed it. We were very surprised at first, but the combination was ultimately just right for us. The breakfast is TOP.

+1
Boutique Hotel Finch in Deventer is an absolute must for anyone looking for a unique and comfortable overnight stay in the heart of this historic city. Upon arrival you will be immediately warmly welcomed by the friendly and helpful staff, who will do everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
The interior of the hotel is truly a feast for the eyes. The beautiful layout, the use of warm colours and the subtle details of the past, such as the nostalgic turntable telephone, give the hotel a special charm. Throughout the hotel you will find cosy seating areas where you can relax with a drink or a good book.
Our split-level room was a hit. The extra seating area with a comfortable sofa and chair offers more space and a homely atmosphere not found in a standard hotel room. The upstairs sleeping area provides a cosy feel, while the fact that the toilet is separate from the shower is a clever and practical addition.
Another highlight of our stay was undoubtedly breakfast. Fresh, varied and prepared with care, this made for a perfect start to the day.
What also makes the hotel so attractive is the location. Boutique Hotel Finch is just a 5-minute walk from the train station and the bustling centre of Deventer is just a 10-minute walk away. This makes the hotel an ideal base to explore this beautiful city, with its rich history, quaint boutiques and cosy terraces.
In short, Boutique Hotel Finch offers a great mix of comfort, style and hospitality. It is a place where you immediately feel at home and where you definitely want to return!

This is a TOP! What hospitable young employees, friendly and relaxed. Our room was very original and tastefully decorated with an eye for detail and while retaining all the authentic elements of the building.
Breakfast was a treat, not a buffet, but served at the table on a large tray. Many hotels can follow this example!

Stay during the Deventer Book Market and this hotel is a surprise. Randstad prices, but nice rooms, somewhat minimalist. Good bed, mediocre pillows. Trendy, with a nice bar/lounge on the ground floor. Regional look, you have to love that. Staff is nice, but sometimes not too active.
In terms of price/quality, the hotel mainly relies on the atmosphere of the interior and the good location in relation to the center.

What a gift to stay at the Finch Boutique Hotel! The ambiance is warm and hip at the same time, the personally written card in the room makes you feel really welcome. The staff is extremely welcoming. In short: a pleasure to stay overnight and an absolute must.
