A fine straightforward hotel with all the features you'd expect, with an attractive flower-garlanded terrace looking into a quiet road and the rear facing onto one of Giethoorn's many canals. Comfortable rooms too. Excellent food, attractively-presented: my favourite was the main meal-sized goats cheese salad with walnuts and a delicious dressing, though the lasagne with seasonal vegetables and a lovely...

We walked in to this hotel looking for a place to stay since we did not have any reservations...they were booked but offered us the apartment and it was really nice. Breakfast was plentiful and very tasty, we had dinner the previous night and food was also very well prepared, tasty and fresh. Location is not really in the center...

Located in the north (quiet) end of Giethoorn, away from the masses - i.e. by far the best place to be. We had half board, and the quality of the food was outstanding - worthy of a Michelin restaurant. Remember to take, or hire, bikes.

We spent one night at this hotel and wished it had been two. I think the pictures on its website don't entirely do it justice. We feared something 'old hat' and even though the style of the hotel is a bit older, it works well in creating a 'home away from home' sort of feeling. Our ground floor room was...

Disappointed no tea coffee in room. Hospitality very ordinary. Went to restaurant across road for tea which was better. No empathy for tired wet bike riders. Boats were very expensive so hire them from the village. Boat trip will take 2 hours. Breakfast was ok.
