Beautiful hotel with very clean, comfortable rooms and super friendly staff. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the station and city centre. It’s in a beautiful building. I really enjoyed my stay here. The garden behind the hotel has lots of private seating. The various groups of tables and chairs are separated by plants and bushes. The staff goes out of their way to help you with anything. I had forgotten my toothpaste and no problem. They also happily stored my luggage after checking out. Breakfast is buffet style with plenty seating, including outside during good weather. In the rooms you have a kettle, coffee and tea. I am already looking forward to my next stay :-)

I think this is one of the funniest hotels in the Netherlands. The hotel is decorated in a jugendstil -style and is one walking distance of the centre of the city.
The hotel has a little restaurant and the food is excellent !

3 Lovely old houses that have been converted into one hotel. Beautiful old buildings inside and out. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

Bar serves excellent beer and wine and the food from the restaurant is top notch. Even if you're not going to stay, you should try the restaurant.

Only downside is if you have heavy bags, you should expect to lug them up some steep stairs but other than that no real issues.

Overall, a great place with great staff and great food.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. It is only a 3 star, but it feels much more like a 4 star. The communal areas of the hotel are really lovely and cosy, filled with interesting antiques. The bar is very cute, we enjoyed a drink in there before we wandered in to lovely Zwolle for the evening.
Our room was lovely! We were delighted with it. It was really peaceful with a big comfortable bed, a jacuzzi bath and a sauna, Fantastic! The breakfast was good and plentiful in a lovely room with beautiful furniture.
The staff were very professional, friendly and efficient. Overall, the experience was excellent and we will very happily return.

Some people would say the decor in this hotel is charming, which it is. But it is outdated and needs an update. The carpet in my room was just dirty.

I had a room with infrared sauna and jacuzzi (regular sized bath) which was pretty neat. Room was spacious as well but it didn't really feel all that clean. I had different rooms on different nights but I would avoid rooms on the top floor as they have no elevator and lugging suitcase of steep and narrow stairs is a hassle. Also the water pressure up there was horrendous. I could hardly get the shampoo out of my hair.

Location wise this is pretty good. Free parking in the street and walk to city centre is about 10 minutes and allows you to have dinner and drinks in the city without the hassle of driving.

Biggest letdown was breakfast, which was far too expensive for the spread!

Staff was very friendly, no complaints in that department.

We stayed here for 2 nights and it was fabulous. The service was excellent and location was fantastic. Breakfast is really good , you can hire bicycle from station which is 10 min away. Hotel has lovely courtyard and awesome bar. Hotel has jacuzzi and sauna bath in the oom. Free parking offstreet. Attraction wise Zwolle is nice town and Giethroon is nearby which is must see. Would be back again. Dutch people were very friendly..........

7 ageing bikers turn up. Made very welcome by friendly and professional staff. Rooms are good with a free fan supplied for cooling. Restaurant and bar are very good with a nice garden to have a drink in. Only a 10 minute walk to the station and 15 minutes to the town centre. If you enjoy whisky this is the place to be.
Have booked already for next year

We stayed for 1 night in this boutique hotel, en route to Germany. We booked the Burgundy arrangement which included room, breakfast and a 3-course meal at the hotel restaurant.

Upon check-in, we were upgraded to a spacious room with 4 poster, queen-sized bed and charming decoration. Bathrobes, slippers, hairdryer were provided. Bathroom looked dated. Unfortunately the mattress dipped slightly in the middle. We did provide feedback upon checkout.

Dinner at the hotel’s restaurant was fantastic! I wouldn’t give that a miss. The hotel bar also boasts the widest selection of whiskey collection in Zwolle. So if you’re a fan, it’s the bar to be in. Breakfast the next day was also lovely with a good selection of hot and cold breakfast plus very good coffee. As a tea lover, I was spoilt with so many choices of loose tea.

Staff were always friendly and service was always with a smile. There’s free street parking right in front of the hotel. Note that the hotel doesn’t have a lift, we only had one luggage so it wasn’t a problem carrying it up the first floor.

Rooms spacious and restaurant cosy. Just a charming place overall. We enjoyed our visit. Staff very friendly, attentive and helpful. Location was perfect for us. One drawback is that a lot of rooms require access only by stairs.
