Our stay at this hotel was far from enjoyable. We booked a non-smoking room, but it reeked of cigarettes and body odour. Despite our complaints, the staff refused to move us to a different room, forcing us to sleep with the window open. To make matters worse, on our last morning, construction work began right outside our room at 7am, despite notices stating it would start at 9am. It was a terrible stay, but fortunately, we managed to get a refund for one night after involving our booking website. Poor customer service, unpleasant smell, and noise disruptions make it difficult to recommend this hotel.

Stayed for just one night to start our Euro road trip. It's about 45 min drive from the P&O terminal at Rotterdam. Parked at the nearby Morspoort multi-storey which was just a few minutes walk (see separate review). The hotel was clean and efficient with a great breakfast. The location is perfect, just across the road from the train/bus terminal making a quick trip into Amsterdam easy and cheap. We booked a family ticket online and saved 10 Euro's on the price from the ticket office (as advised by the lady at the ticket office). If you are only staying one night, I would recommend spending your day in Leiden rather than Amsterdam though. A beautiful town with a very chilled atmosphere, we wished we hadn't bothered going into Amsterdam as it was a bit of a rush.

Basic hotel with very convenient location right across from the train station and easy to walk around the beautiful town. We didn't have breakfast there, so can't comment on that. The staff was very helpful, and the bed was comfortable. We were surprised that there wasn't a safe or mini bar. The price was right, and it was easier to get to the airport from Leiden rather than Amsterdam (20 min. by train), so a great place to spend our last day in the Netherlands.

This hotel is very convenient to the train center and short walk to the center of Leiden. Very comfortable stay and especially grateful that our room was ready when we arrived early. The check- in process was easy. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We've stayed here lots of times before and it's always fantastic. The rooms are large, comfy, clean and warm and a decent night's sleep is always guaranteed. Housekeeping is every day and rooms are cleaned to a high standard. I haven't had breakfast or eaten here so can't comment on the food, but the bar/reception area is nice and staff are friendly. It's in a great location, just a short walk from the main centre. There's a Kruidvat store (like a UK Superdrug) right downstairs, and also an Aldi and Jumbo supermarket. The bus/train station is across the road and we used Starbucks there for breakfast. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Leiden. It's perfect.

Wonderful hotel, sophisticated with modern style. Located right next to the train station which is very convenient if you want to to explore different cities in the Netherlands. Only a few minutes walk from Leiden center. The room was small but had everything you need to feel comfortable, including a big open closet to store your clothes and hang your coats, multiple electric sockets (which was so helpful and much appreciated), an amazing bathroom, spacious with great shower and hot water and a wonderful view to the windmill which made my holiday! Breakfast was great, there was a big variety to choose from as fresh bread, croissants, eggs, omelets and so much more. We had a problem with the ac unit, reported it at the reception and within a few minutes a kind lady came up to our room and found a solution to the problem. Great service!! We had a wonderful stay and we would definitely recommend this hotel to future guests 👌…

Great location and comfortable room. We did not have the Breakfast in the hotel so cant comment on that, but the Hotel is right be the Train station and very close to many restaurants and a easy walk to the town center. Room was clean. service was good

Excellent hotel with wonderful, helpful, very friendly personnel. Room was clean, great layout, good shower, excellent lighting and enough power outlets. Everything I needed was there and I felt good staying there. Truly recommend this hotel, especially because of the personnel and perfect location.

Strategically located opposite the train and bus stations and 5 minutes walk from the main streets in leiden whilst there are 2 groceries next to the hotel. Hotel is a classic ibis thus with no ugly surprises, a clean room , a good breakfast and helpful stuff. Every time i will be in Leiden, this will be my hotel!
