Our stay was quite enjoyable. This hotel is a good option for a short stay, as we were there for two days. The price-quality ratio is fair. The staff was friendly from the start, with quick check-in and clean rooms. The breakfast was varied and we found it worth the cost. However, be aware if you're visiting around February 2024. There are construction works next to the hotel, making access inconvenient as you have to navigate around the block. A point of improvement would be the quality of the windows. Street noise was quite audible at night, which was slightly bothersome. We also found it strange and unsettling that the cleaning staff would knock and enter our room after just a few seconds. This happened on both days of our stay, once at 9 a.m. and again at around 4 p.m. Despite leaving the "do not disturb" sign on the door, the room was still cleaned, which we didn't quite understand. Tip : if you use the elevator, you have to keep the floor button pressed for it to move!…

Great location, easy to find. Room was a great size, comfy bed, fantastic shower, staff helpful. Breakfast was fab, plenty of choice. Hotel safe didn’t work in our room, there are new 1s on order, this didn’t effect our stay. The room comes with a coffee machine & kettle, perfect for when your recharging between sight seeing.

We booked 2 nights at this hotel coming from Germany. It had a super convenient location (only 2 tram stops from central station) upon checking in we paid €26 plus €20 key deposit to park the car for 2 days, the car park was about a 4 minute walk from the hotel. Rooms: The room was large and clean, missing cups for the coffee machine and also didn’t have a safe as advertised so I had to carry the valuables around all weekend, also you were not able to lock the hotel door from the inside. The bathroom was large and modern and had an extractor fan that didn’t work. The cleanliness was top marks from me. Noise: I appreciate it was the weekend so some noise is inevitable, but the noise went on until 3am because every time someone entered the building none of the doors had a quiet close on them, they just slammed shut. We were situated on the ground floor and you could clearly hear the people above moving around and using the toilet (possibly due to the fact that all bedroom floors are Lino and not carpeted. Breakfast: I only have positive things to say in regard to the breakfast as there was a good variety of fresh foods for everyone. Checking out: Upon checkout we got the car and drove back to load the bags. When giving the car park key they said we hadn’t paid any deposit (see above) and asked if we had a white slip! We didn’t as nobody gave us one (Make sure you get a white slip) so we had to stand and keep our strength to get the deposit back. Overall: Not my style of hotel, the online pictures show it in a much better light. Super convenient location. Better hotels near the harbour for the same price. I wouldn’t return but I will say it was an experience.…

Hotel refused to refund despite the government advising against all but essential travel. Hotel management terrible and did not even offer to change the dates. Uncompassionate money grabbers making money out of pandemic circumstances.

Booked a double room with my friend as we travelled over to watch a football match. We were given a double room so had to share a double bed. Also, be careful if the stairs in this hotel as they are very steep and you could easily fall.

Be careful while booking this hotel. I booked the room in the hotel through Expedia for one night, paid it and was happily arriving to Rotterdam. It’s a little bit challenging to find the hotel as you would not expect it to be in a place it was. But that’s just the beginning. Upon arriving I was requested to make deposit of euro 250, which is almost three times higher the price of the room I booked. The reason for such deposit as I was explained by the lady at reception is :” Russian speaking people are used to crushed their toilets” all my attempts to persuade her that I have no relations with “ those crushers” were not successful. Moreover , one of the hotel guests, which was seating in the lobby, Russian speaking guy( I think he was the rep of those crushers) was trying to de involved in our conversation and when he saw my blue passport, somehow he decided that I’m from Kazakhstan, said that nothing good should he expected from those with such passport. It was extreme “hospitality “ I have faced first time in my life.. be careful not to experience the awfulness AVOID hotel Milano in Rotterdam…

The hotel personnel was unfriendly and uninterested at arrival, during breakfast and at check-out. They didn't really seem to care about the customers. They didn't even bother to explain us where the breakfast or the bar was situated. They even seemed annoyed to have to check us in. We got a room on the first floor at the road-side. The room itself was okay. But the fact that is was located on the front of the hotel meant that we were constantly bothered by the noise of all the traffic on the very busy lane in fornt of the hotel. We did not get any sleep during our two nights at this hotel. If you book this hotel, at least demand a room in the back, as far away from the roadside as possible.

I had 3 enjoyable nights stay and found the hotel cosy and comfortable. Happy with my single room and good standard of cleanliness. I did initially have trouble finding my room and had to ask assistance. The hotel is in several buildings with more than one entry from the street. Staff are very helpful and speak excellent English. Do be prepared for lots of stairs. The stairs are quite narrow so it pays to hold onto the hand rails. Hotel is in very good location and walking distance to Rotterdam Centraal Station. Absolutely loved Rotterdam. Purchased a 3 day RET chipkaart for unlimited travel on trams, metro and buses - including bus to Hoek Van Holland ferry terminal. The train was not operating to the ferry terminal at the time of my stay - 1st part of May 2019 - but the bus trip is enjoyable.Recommend Hop-On-Hop-Off bus and Huis Sonneveld - Dutch Architecture - Museumpark, Rotterdam.…
