I stayed at this small family run boutique bed and breakfast / chambre d'hote (call it what you will) and thoroughly enjoyed it. The place is chic and the family is charming. I was even driven to my office in the morning to save me the taxi fare and to make sure I got there in good time.

I was not sure what to expect when I booked the Residenz but its one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. I strongly recommend this as a place to stay. Every detail is carefully put together and the welcome was very personal and friendly. You cant go wrong but book way ahead as its small and very popular.

Stayed four nights. In complete agreement with all the positive recent reviews. Great room, location and breakfast in a relaxed yet intimate environment. We also enjoyed the hospitality of some stand in managers, whilst the owner Frank and his family were on holiday.

We arrived late afternoon and sat with Frank having coffee and cake whilst he booked us in and talked us through a map of The Hague, recommending restaurants and places to visit. The room was very comfortable but will now cost us more money as on our wish lists for home are the remote controlled beds and a remote controlled...

Residenz artfully and gracefully combines style with substance with service. We picked Residenz based on TripAdvisor reviews and could not have been more delighted. The owners were prompt and patient communicators before we arrived. When we checked in they worked to help us feel comfortable and enthusiastic about their home city: they gave us museum passes, filled our public transport...
