Stayed for 2 nights. Not seen any of the so called "people staying while working" just a few older people staying in their "home from home". Receptionist couldn't be more helpful. Showers and loos could do with up dating. Sites about 1ml away from the sint annatunnel which takes you into the centre of Antwerp. Can walk/cycle through or there's...

We stayed here for 4 nights 3 years ago and thought that it was adequate, clean no frills but perfect location. We chose to stay here again for the location as we wanted to see the Tall Ships Race leave Antwerp. On a positive note it was a perfect location enabling you to walk to the river side and watch...

An old guy, a regular user of this site, has been gassed twice and had his tent slashed once. Despite site Web page saying used by tourists only, there are lots of settled families who go out to work daily. Site is messy, smelly toilets and showers. Money paid up front and couldn't get refund when left after first night....

It's such a shame really because this campsite has so much potential. It's location is ideal for people to ride or walk into the city and its situated next to a marina overlooking the port of Antwerp that makes for a beautiful evening stroll. However, after 4 days (would have been less had we not loved Antwerp and Brussels so...

Campsite is quite small and VERY popular as very close to Antwerp. All facilities. Come off motorway at sign for Linkerover. Routes E19/A12/N180 Next to Shyelde river. Have to go under river at Waasland tunnel. Very cheap campsite beside river. Nice walks. People queue to get in so best to get there early or book tel: Antwerpen +3232198179 We usually...

Having stayed here a year ago we returned for two nights to visit the city. Location is superb .... The site however has deteriorated. Travellers had taken over the site, toilets and showers filthy and pitches muddy and dodgy electrics. The place is a municipal site (nothing wrong with that) but the warden wasn't interested. The electrics tripped out at...

We rented 3 caravans for 4 persons each (big group of friends) for 2 nights, because the chalets where full. Arriving at 17u30 on friday there was no one at the reception. We called an they gave us instructions by phone to find the caravans and 1 key (the two other caravans weren't and couldn't be locked). 2 of 3...

It is a nice place to stay, close to the centre if you have a bike with you. But the management is terrible. The office is most of the time abondoned. We arrived Friday at half past one. Then there was nobody. After 1,5 hours waiting we looked for a place. But you need a specially cable for the electricity....

We stayed here for three nights recently and yes it's muddy, yes it's a fenced in field but it's within walking distance of Antwerp via the St Anne tunnel. It'd be a short bike ride into town. The shower/toilet facilities were clean (no loo paper provided) the door locks worked and the water was hot. Mine hostess was really nice...

Facilities not even 3 star. Pitches mainly small and close together. Contractors live on site so noise and mess that goes with them. Poor drainage on site, all hardstandings used by contractors. So if to rains it is areal mess of mud and puddles and the joy of wheel slippage. Very handy for centre using a bike via under river...
