Just around the corner you find food market Lousbergmarkt with biologically grown fruit & vegetables, a large variety of cheeses and also a baker. In the street parallel to ours, you'll find a small grocery store 'De Baere' and a 7' walk from the hotel you'll find a shopping mall with a large supermarket on the -1 level.
Hope this answers your question.

Hi. There is no tram. The city is truly beautiful and relaxing so we always walked. We have a small child and he never complained about the walk. I'm sure there are public transport but we just enjoyed the city by walking.
