We definitely recommend this private room at Huub & Jeannine Baert's home. They take into account every comfort and need you may have. From the welcome local Belgium beers which you should enjoy on your private balcony overlooking the canal to the delicious breakfast in their open upstairs room to the wonderful art from the owners it was exactly what...

We stayed here 4 nights in August, 12-16. This is a very small B&B , close enough to city center, the room and terrace are very romantic, The hosts are friendly and accommodating, The breakfast every morning was fresh, delicious , nicely presented, and surrounded with lovely music. We had our own key and could live and return at any...

we stayed in Baert B&B Brugge for two nights on November, it was really a good time. location: it is about 10mins walk from train station, and another 10mins to old town center. you can visit everywhere in Brugge by foot. Room: currently there is only one room here (Red room), it is at ground floor, there is a little...

When you sit out on your private canal terrace in this delightful establishment, it's hard to believe you are close to the centre of one of Europe's most popular tourist destinations. With just one guest room, and a most welcoming and helpful host, Baert B&B makes you feel as though you are a house guest, not a client. And how...

Beautiful petit-canal terrace. Quiet, with birds chipping and ducks quacking. Nice and ample breakfast. Easy walk from Train Station in 10 minutes, and close to old town center. Superb experience!

Not long been back from Bruges where I had a wonderful informative break. I was there for a week so also had time to visit Ghent, Brussels/Waterloo and take a guided tour to the Flanders battlefields. I can only reiterate many other reviews that this B&B is one Bruge's bargains in what can be an expensive city. The place is...

What a find this place is! It was like a luxury hotel at half the price - plenty of towels, robes, sitting area, fridge, snacks, coffee, tea and more in the room. Breakfast was beautiful, organic, and delicious, with fresh orange juice, fresh whole grain bread, meats, cheeses. yogurt, fruit, a bottomless pot of coffee, and an offer to fix...

We had a wonderful time in the gold room at Baert's B & B in Bruges. Our hosts Huub and Jeannine were friendly and very helpful. We truly enjoyed Huub's expertise on restaurants, getting around, and his entertaining stories! Most important was his warmth and kindness. He and his wife are truly welcoming you into their homes not just as...

Our stay in the Golden Room was wonderful. Huub gives a warm welcome and plenty of good advice for visiting Bruges and the surroundings. On his advice, we had a great day at the coast. The room is decorated nicely and very thoughtfully appointed. Having a little fridge is so convenient and the welcome drink is a nice idea! Each...

There is not enough that I could say to describe how wonderful our stay was here! We loved every single minute we spent here. When it was time to leave, we were wishing we had booked for much longer. We never wanted to leave! When we arrived it was a short walk from the train station (even with 30lb backpacks...

“Baert has a gold and a red room. I recommend you look at both on line and decide which you'd prefer. The red room is a bit more spacious with the bathroom in the room. The gold room has a private bathroom in the hallway which was very convenient. We were in the gold room.”
