If you are looking for a great hotel in the best location look no further. Ideally situated on canal but also next to a Main Street leading to the market. Hotel staff are very friendly and hotel itself very quaint, clean and tidy, decorated very thoughtfully. The afternoon tea is a real treat not cheap but worth it. One downside...

We booked a tour through Froggy Travel so our expectations were high. Hotel de Orangerie did not disappoint. It's a small luxury hotel with charming rooms and a friendly staff. I was particularly impressed with their amazing breakfast, so much to choose from. Little touches really made this hotel stand out, such as the nightly weather report and the farewell...

Spent 3 nights and 4 days in Bruges at the Orangerie for my birthday with the misses and 2 kids. Turned out to be a great place which we all loves, even the two young ones. The hotel is housed in a former monastery and refurbished with style, class and feel to fit right into the hearth of Bruges. The...

My partner and I went to Bruges at the end of October. This was a perfect hotel in a great location - so near to all the key tourist sites and a great view of the canal from the amazing breakfast room.

We stayed at a Small Luxury Hotel property on our honeymoon and had a great experience so thought we would try out another one whilst in Bruges. Hotel d'Orangerie did not disappoint. We were upgraded to a wonderful room, had the most amazing breakfast each morning and despite being in such a great, central location, it was still very quiet....

We stayed here over 20 years ago and was delighted to come back to this lovely hotel and city. The location is perfect, next to a canal, the interior decorated with charm, the staff friendly and efficient.

Perfect location right on a canal and a short walk to the major attractions in this compact city. We got an excellent room rate: more than $100 per night off the rack rate for a classic room, the decor of which was perfect for this charming city. My only complaint, and it is minor, was the automatic bathroom lights were...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
De Orangerie Hotel is located right on the most picturesque canal of medieval Bruges in the very heart of the city centre. This small XV century monastery of the Sisters Karthuizerinnen has been converted into a wonderful "boutique hotel", furnished with exclusive fabrics (Braquenié, Pierre Frey, Bennison, Ralph Lauren), antiques, and objets d'art. All of the 20 graciously proportioned bedrooms have been individually decorated with antiques, and offer all the modern comfort that the discerning traveller expects. In the elegant lounge along the canal, guests can relax by the open fire, in comfortable sofas while going through the available art books and international magazines, and enjoying a drink which is served round the clock. The winter garden lounge with its views on the “trompe l’oeil” Italian gardens is a haven of rest and tranquillity in fresh white and light-greyish colours. It is recommended to enjoy the typical English “Afternoon Tea” or an aperitif either on the waterfront terrace or in the cozy lounge. ... more   less
