Hotel Academie is thankfully tucked away from the torrent of tourists that flood the shopping streets and squares of Brugge. Don’t let the “old world” façade on the narrow cobbled alley fool you. Behind that antique Belgian front hides a modern hotel. A charming, calming courtyard takes center stage, surrounded by clean, spacious rooms with all the mod-cons. It is...

This hotel is in an awesome spot; you can walk to every attraction in the city and it's steps away from one of the ferry/boat stops. I reserved my room too late to get parking, but I parked in nearby Oud Sint-Jan and it worked out great - it was 12.50euro for over 18 hours!! Wifi was so-so in the...

Great hotel in a great location next to lovers lake. Rooms are a good size and very clean. Room had coffee making, safe and everything you need for a short stay. We drove and the underground car park is small but very handy. We didn't eat at the hotel because so much choice around including a lovely little café over...

You probably can't get a room like this much closer to the train station...key if you are dragging a bag across the cobblestone streets and sidewalks. Aside from location, this was a very relaxing and nice hotel. Rooms are spacious, large bathrooms, free internet, the interior courtyard is peaceful and quiet. Staff is friendly, I was able to check in...

Easily missed small entrance opens to a decently sized modern hotel with central courtyard and underground car park. How it fits into this lovely little street yet being hardly visible is one of the many wonders of beautiful Bruges. I can only repeat other reviews, it's very clean and comfortable with friendly staff in a great location. Buffet breakfast was...

Enjoyed staying at this hotel, in a great location within the main tourist area of Bruge. We found the hotel easily after a 10 minute walk from the train station. The hotel staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. The room was tastfully decorated and the bed comfortable with a choice of pillows. The breakfast was enjoyable and a good...

We just finished a two night stay at the Academie Hotel. First things first, all of the employees we interacted with were fantastic. My children especially enjoyed the stuffed animals that were given to them at check-in. The hotel itself is nice, The room was spacious and plainly decorated. The bathroom was large and the beds comfortable. Our only complaint...
