We only stayed at this hotel for one night but we couldn't really fault it. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to the centre and we found it to be very quiet - but this may have just been the time of year! We were greeted with a very friendly welcome and given lots of advice as to

We stayed at 3 different hotels during our wonderful holiday to Bruges as our trip itinerary was flexible. (As this hotel has restrictions for check-in, and we were concerned about arriving on time, we booked elsewhere for our first night.) This hotel was our least favourite

Dear Maureen M. Hotel Biskajer Adults Only is a three star family-run hotel in small Bruges. Like most hotels in this city we do have restricted reception desk opening hours. You fail to see that this results in less staff members and thus low prices. Hotel Biskajer Adults Only has therefore been awarded with prices from Tripadvisor many years in a row. We could improve customer's experience and have 24 hours reception service hence you need not worry about arriving in time. BUT realize that roomprices would considerable become higher. Hotel Biskajer would no longer be 3 but 4 star hotel and you would NOT HAVE BOOKED here since you booked a budget (smallest and cheapest roomtype) without breakfast. Future guests need to understand that by running this hotel with the two of us, we can keep costs down and offer a bargain hotel instead of the already numerous premium 4 star hotels in Bruges.

LOCATION: 5/5 Hotel Biskajer is perfectly situated in a prime location with access to the heart of Bruges. It takes only a few minutes to walk from the hotel to nearly any of the attractions and monuments. Bruges is a BEAUTIFUL city, by the way, and should be on the

Credibility: 2/5 At first sight one would believe you are a savvy traveller taking in mind the effort you took to write this extensive review after being in Bruges for just a few hours. Truth is your only 25 years old and according to your reviews have hardly left your own country except a quick stop in London. You have as yet never visited Europe, Asia,… nor explored the wonders of the world, learned and experienced the ancient civilisations, … Consistent: 2/5-3/5 It is true a hotel whatever category should be clean and offer a good night’s sleep and decent breakfast in the morning. While the mattress cover of your bed appeared not to be as clean as it should be… we immediately replaced it and solved the issue. In all honesty we can see you choose your hotels primarly based on a low price. In our hotel you choose a budget (smallest and cheapest room), without breakfast. Hotel Biskajer Adults Only has spacious large rooms, but they are more expensive. So you like to choose large chainhotels, known for the large quantity of hotel rooms they have and often offer discounts, sales to attrackt guests merely due to their large scale instead of smaller individual boutique hotels You rate Hotel Biskajer Adults Only 3 stars while you give the same score for chainhotels delivering small rooms without hot water, filthy curtains& windows, … To us it makes no sense at all. Apparently you just wing it, you lack any skill, education in hospitality sector, work experience in the trade but like to make everyone around you believe you think you know it all. Maybe you can make us a good offer on the hotel and run it yourself? Significance: 1/5 Taking into account the small amount of time you have taken out of your planning to visit Bruges. The numerous beautifull things you have missed out of because of lack of time/interest, it is stunning how much time and effort you have taken to write this review. Seems you find writing subjective reviews, pleasing your followers more important than the real experience, the ever lasting memory, the knowledge of visiting an old world city in real life...

Public underground car parks have a daily charge just round the corner.

The train station is situated at the side of the city. Hotel Biskajer is situated in the very heart of the city centre, near all sights. If you come by train, you have following options: • Walking, from the railway station into the centre, takes you 25 minutes to reach the hotel. • By taxi it takes about 10 minutes. The cost will be between € 8 and € 12, depending on the traffic. • Bus numbers 4 and 14 stop at the Jan Van Eyck Square. The hotel is situated behind this square.

The parking directly outside the hotel is very time restricted. Fine though for unloading luggage. However the hotel staff are extremely helpful in offering suggestions for long term parking. We used a long term undercover car park that was very safe. Due to the one way system,, it seems a long way to drive but is actually only a short walk away from the hotel.
