We were visiting family in Germany and decided to do an overnight in Bruges. We reserved a superior room and were pleasantly surprised, two sitting rooms, two bathrooms and a Juliette balcony. The bed was very comfortable. They only lost a star because the lights in one sitting didn't work, bedside light out and someone had seriously damaged one piece...

We found the Grand Hotel Du Sablon via a review on Tripadvisor and then booked through Booking.com. After a a pleasant journey via the Chunnel, we arrived in Bruges around 14:45 on the Monday of half term and found our hotel. We were greeted with warmth and friendliness that immediately put us at ease and ready for our first hit...

We were amazed at how spacious this hotel was, coming from Paris ,where our room was as big as a shoe box, this place was overwhelmingly spacious. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It also was very cosy and warm. The breakfast room was large and provided a substantial breakfast. The hotel's interior is decorated so well. We enjoyed our...

I stayed here for three nights with my wife and three year old. This is a lovely hotel with very friendly and relaxed staff. Our three year old loved it here. The hotel is close to the centre of Brugge, which is not a large place. The continental breakfast was tasty and we enjoyed our visit here.

The rooms are great, spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and the breakfast is very good. The best thing though is that this hotel is located inside the city center. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic stay in Brugges complimented by the hotel. The rooms were lovely and the breakfast was superb every day. A special thank you to Virginie for sorting a restaurant on New Years eve. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here and they won't be disappointed

The hotel is ideally located in the centre of Bruges although that means it's a 20 minute walk from the train station. The city is way nicer than Brussels in my opinion, it's more picturesque. The hotel is clean, close to the centre but far away enough from the hustle of the city. The staff are super friendly, Raymond who...
