Stayed here a while ago on a biking trip round Europe. Decided to stay here again a few years later on the return leg of a business trip to Holland. The service was as good as I remember it. The downside is that you can't charge drinks to your room, and the staff are reluctant to take cards. Apart from...

........... we not only stayed there on our way to Germany but immediately booked to stay there also on our way home. Very conveniently only 90 minutes from Le Shuttle. It has been converted so sympathetically; the rooms are lovely; staff speak English; breakfast is great - with ducks just a few feet away through the window.

We had a room at the rear, it was surprisingly spacious. Comfy bed, nice en suite, and all very clean. It's quirky and fun. The staff were excellent and spoke perfect English. We also enjoyed the breakfast. It's conveniently located, with parking, and a short walk into the centre of Bruges! I would recommend it.

The De Barge Hotel has parking available and is close to the centre, which is difficult to find in Bruges. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is also a restaurant next door, although we did not visit this. The continental breakfast was excellent, with parts of an English breakfast also available.

Perfect for a relaxing break in Bruges. Very comfortable, staff very friendly & obliging with perfect English, and parking literally right outside. Easy 10 minute walk to the centre through a small park. In essence .....why wouldn't you stay here?😊

This is just the kind of place that I shall recommend to friends - I don't mean 'like' it on Facebook but actually suggest that they go there. You need to remember that it is a boat so the rooms are not going to be huge, we had one of the 'Officer's cabins' which was at the back (stern!) and...

Something really different a floating barge brilliantly converted to a hotel. The cabins are bright and light with just enough room for comfort, the en suite is small but has it all , the breakfast room / evening restaurant is a lovely area well converted and has a nice nautical theme. Breakfast is very good with a hot choice as...

This is high on our list of favourite places we've stayed and were genuinely saddened to leave. The barge is extremely well kept and the attention to detail is second to none, from the anchor key ring on the room key to the life jackets on the bed. My husband is 6ft 2 and I was apprehensive that he may...

Good location, good parking. Superior captain's cabin had nice canal view. Has all the amenities. Staff very friendly and multilingual. Breakfast was good - pleasant to watch the ducks while enjoying the meal! Probably not good for disabled as there are a few steps to go up and down, but my husband did manage on his crutches! Also dog-friendly, which...
