The Lybeer Travellers Hostel is in a perefect location. Everything is really close by. I stayed in an eleven people dorm room and the room was good. The bathroom facilities were very clean. However, apart from the beer tasting, which was fun, it was not really a place for socialising and even during the bar happy hour there wasn't alot...

The hostel itself is not the best I've been to, but the awesome staff, the atmosphere and the services make up for it. Brace yourself for a huge set of stairs to take your luggage to your room and prepare to find certain details in the bedsheets and the bedspread. Hot water sometimes run off... During winter it can get...

Stayed for 2 nights and were not disappointed with it. The rooms were all clean and it was bizarre the way they were set out, we had never seen anything like it with the beds all lined up against one wall! We soon became used to it though and were able to climb in and out of the top beds...

A good place to stay with friendly helpful staff and a good hostel bar that sells great belgian beer at reasonable prices. My only criticism is that there are not enough showers with only one per floor of over 20 people.

The Lybeer was the first hostel experience I've ever had and it still sets the bar for the best Hostel I've stayed at this far. The owner and his fiance amazing people who joined some of the guests in the lounge before we started our night. When I think about how beautiful and memorable Bruges is to visit, I will...

The hostel is a few minutes walking from the central station, which is good for backpakers. There's a bar inside the hostel with good range of local beers from belgium. The room is neat, clean and the beds are really comfortable. It is a excellent choice for those who plan to visit Bruges. Just a minor detail, the stairs are...

I'm not one to complain, and having spent 2 years travelling round Australia, have experienced the highs and the lows of hostel living, and am realistic in my expectations. I'm often wary of making complaints, having read negative reviews of places I have also stayed that seem like nitpicking or exaggeration. Bearing this in mind, I feel my review /rating...

Stayed here for two nights in January with my boyfriend. Our room was gorgeous and had a sink in it because it was a private. The host Simee was very funny and nice, served us great beer at the bar. The shared bathroom was gorgeous, walk-in shower, slate floor.

Bruges is one of my favorite places I saw on my 5 week trip to 9 countries! This hostel had incredibly clean rooms and bathrooms and the bar was nice also. I'm not a drinker really and the receptionist let me sample a drink and talked about what I might like the most which was helpful. I liked that the...

Would have given 5, but the guy at the front desk was not very pleasant. The private rooms are nice, and expect lots of stairs. Great location and would definitely recommend. The little breakfast shop down the street called Juliet was great!!! That had amazing waffles and the owner was so sweet.
