Take a leisurely boat ride along the canal ,beautifully peaceful ride past lovely old buildings. Price reasonable, park in underground car park under square new bus terminal. Then buy amazing chocolates. There seem to be as many choice shops as bars.,

Took the wife to Bruges for the weekend and went on this very relaxing but stimulating boat ride on the canal. Lots of old quaint buildings to see with the history explained by the boat captain.
