We stayed a couple of nights at Cote Canal. Caroline the owner was a fabulous hostess knowledgeable and welcoming. Nothing was to much trouble. We stayed in the attic room up 2 flights of narrow stairs, not for the faint hearted but not that bad either. The room was a dream spacious light, modern facilities combined with classic furnishings. We...

Easy ride by bus to town centre. With the help of a map available at tourist info at rail station, this lovely home of Catherine was easily located. It was our privilege to stay in this stately yet charming home. Although our room was located a couple of flights up, we were treated to a lovely view if the canal....

We must agree with all of the other reviews--5 star service with the familiarity and comfort of being at a friend's home. Amazing location just steps from the main square but quiet and quaint. It's the perfct place for this picturesque town.

This is a beautiful house and it is a very pleasant experience to stay here. It is ideal for all of the main attractions and yet tucked away and private. If you like to be treated as an individual and not just one of many tourists, this is the place for you. Everything is clean, well cared for and imaginatively furnished.The...

- How often can one say that a stay in a hotel/guesthouse would make such an amazing impression one could only hope to experience once or twice in a lifetime. My wife and I recently had such a wonderful experience at the Cote Canal/Heyzehertsberge in Bruges. From home we had searched the many options of finding a hotel or guesthouse...

I have had the honor of staying here six times now. Caroline has spoiled me in that now I must have my Caroline & Henk fix before going onto another city. I have traveled here with various family members and friends and whether it is their first time or third or fourth they feel like they are 'home'. We generally...

Caroline, the b&b owner helped us find her hotel, and she really took it seriously if any of us got bitten by mosquitoes, or had a cold or anything. The breakfast was lovely, and she makes amazing orange juice with an orange squeezer. We can't believe how much she had to pay for renovating the house. (40,000 euros when the...

My fiance and I stayed here for two nights in early August. We did a two week trip through Belgium, Germany, and Italy, and by far this was the best part of our entire trip. The location is superb, the breakfast is delicious (meats, cheese, fresh pastries and breads, cereal, etc.), and the room was charming and had an amazing...
