We stayed here in July 2011 and couldn’t have been happier with our choice. The house itself is beautiful and Caroline as a host is second to none. The details and decor of the house is a credit to her and is thoroughly enjoyable. The garden and room are a wonderful alternative to a standard hotel room and this B&B... More

If you have been researching Trip Advisor for hours wondering where to stay, look no further! We stayed at the wonderful Cote Canal for 3 nights at the beginning of August: 2 nights in the suite Clin d'Oeil and 1 night in the Loft Room. Internally the Cote Canal is beautifully appointed. Our rooms were immaculately clean with everything you... More

My wife an I stayed for 3 nights during early August. From arriving you instantly get the feeling this is a beautifully created labour of love and the owner Caroline should be given great credit for creating something very very special. All the other reviews are right, it really is that good. Best location, beautiful rooms, smashing breakfast and with... More

Dear Richard and Ann, Woaw ! That was fast! You must have been on your way home when you wrote your review. I didn't get the chance to thank you for your stay with us or I read your comment already. Please don't thank me for what seems natural to us. I am so happy you enjoyed it but I... More

Influenced by the numerous glowing reviews decided to book a room here for my partners birthday surprise as I was after somewhere a little bit special - this didnt disappoint as it is a lot special!! The location is great, a pleasant stroll along the canals from the train station and a short walk to both squares should you want... More

We were welcomed warmly when we arrived at this beautiful 16th century house. Our room was called the attic and it was quite large and had a wonderful view of the garden and canal. The garden was a perfect place for eating breakfast or passing the afternoon with a glass of wine while watching the spotted flycatcher flit about. We... More

Found the place easily (if you get as far as the canal, you've gone too far!) and the owner, Caroline, couldn't have been more helpful. She pointed us towards the public car park a few streets down; unfortunately it's one-in-one-out so we had to wait a while to get the car shoe-horned in. By the time we got back she'd... More

From the moment we arrived to the sad moment when we left, we were in love with this b&b. Caroline is so passionate about her little b&b and her guests! She spent time with us on arrival letting us know where to visit, eat etc... So helpful. The room is just beautiful, the bed was divine as was the big... More

Wows Oohs and Aaahs will pervade your stay and this was one of the top two best hotels I've ever stayed in - the other being a riad in Marrakesh. A tasteful labour of love from its congenial lady owner-manager; top location near the centre and with one of the city's only canal-side gardens; great breakfasts enjoyed outside weather-permitting and... This b&b is, in my view, the only place to stay in Bruges. Set on the edge of the canal, far enough from the centre to be beautifully tranquil but close enough to be just a few minutes' walk away, and in the most beautiful old building with incredible tall ceilings and floor to ceiling windows and shutters on the...
