Great place to stay, it was just minimal, clean and modern and really nice compared to the slightly stuffy B&B you find for the same price. breakfast was lovely and beautiful fluffy towels and bedding - would highly recomend both Bruges and the Walwyck hotel!!

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Walwyck Hotel Brugge over the easter long weekend for my birthday! It was fabulous! We arrived easter sunday and they had left easter eggs in the room and also a bottle of wine for my birthday! What a great touch indeed! The room was perfect. crisp white sheets, great lighting, floors, and details.... More

Nicely modern hotel in an older building. Clean rooms all done in white. I enjoyed talking to one od the owners, Benedictine was very helpful in showing us where to go to get to the attractions ( all walking distance ) and she gave us some ideas for dinner. Would go back and stay in this same place.

We loved the Walwyck. It was perfect for our family, which is large by European standards. They added an extra bed to our room, allowing us to fit 5 people. The bedding was beautiful and warm, the people were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast was the best we have ever had at a European hotel. The hot chocolate... More

We had a very nice stay at the Walwyck hotel, which is nicely located on the canal and just 5 minutes from the main square. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They pointed out the areas of the city centre best to avoid for over priced poor quality food and recommended some nice places to eat.... More

My buddies and I stayed at the Walwyck Hotel out of shear luck, we had no hotel reservations when we arrived in Brugge. Why you ask? Sometimes spontaneity is the most fun...for sure memorable! Okay, how did we find this hotel? Arriving in the Brugge (some spell as Bruges) Central train station we looked for a "Hotel Desk" like the... More

I was a little apprehensive on arrival when told we would be in the fated room 2 (see one of the reviews below) but was pleasantly surprised. It is a small room, but the view from the room onto a budding magnolia tree and canal more than makes up for it. It's quite a sunspot on the window ledge too.... More

We just got back from a stay at the Walwyck. The hotel has a great location staff were nice and the breakfast was good. We stayed in a superior family room. 2 rooms adjoining with 2 bathrooms. The down fall was it was not very clean. The wall had pencil, crayon marks on them and sticky stuff on them. It... More

We (my wife and I) asked for a room overlooking the canal. I loved the room. The room was small but very cosy. A good room for a romantic weekend! They used light colors to decorate. I loved it! (Room number 2) The view was wonderful... the swans on the canal, the quietness of the street in the evening... I... More

“There's no elevator and after the 1st (American 2nd) floor it is a small curved stair case - and the top floor could be warmer on hot days (fan provided in room). I stayed in the standard room at the top which was a great value and very comfortable - they do have more deluxe rooms overlooking the canal though!”
