Stayed at Hotel Ambrosia for two nights, while attending a big annual congress, that took place in Ieper this year, because of the remembrance of the Great War. Reception was kind and friendly, the room basic but perfectly in order and agreeable. And breakfast was very nice and well served (made to order if necessary) and always with a warm...

Small 10 room hotel. Great location in Ypres. Basic but clean and comfortable most rooms. No lift or air conditioning. Top floor "attic" rooms have very small windows and are dark and uncomfortably hot dependent on weather conditions. (Lots of banging head off sloped ceiling). Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast with buffet or cooked options.

We stayed here overnight and had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Pebbles welcomed us and gave us all the information we required. The hotel is very centrally located and an easy walk to the Menin Gate for the service in the evening. The room was excellent and very comfortable and we could have coffee and tea at any time...

I stayed overnight at the Ambrosia Hotel with my brother and sister in law. The owners and staff were extremely friendly and helpful at this small hotel in the centre of Ypres. The room was lovely at the top of the house and for a central hotel quite quiet during the night. Pebbles, the receptionist when we arrived, helped with...

Excellent small hotel. The owner and staff were very pleasant and welcoming. The bedrooms were well furnished with very comfy beds, television, en-suite bathroom with shower, hairdryer and toiletries. Free Wi Fi throughout the hotel. Excellent cooked to order breakfast - there is also a continental choice. In the reception is a hot drink machine for complimentary drinks. There is...

Stayed here 27th July. Receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Fantastic central location with only a short walk to the various sites in Ypres including the Menin Gate memorial. There were three of us over on a tour of the north of France and south Belgium battle-sites. We booked a triple room which we found to be very comfortable. Free...

Stayed for a couple of nights to visit Ieper and surroundings. Quiet location and just 2 minutes from the Great Market. Breakfast is very good and Pebbles was a great staff member as well. Some other things were less impressive though. There is a vending machine for drinks and one was 8 months over the date (got money back though)....

This is the second time we have stayed at this small family run hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable with everything you need. The choice at breakfast is excellent and the service is cheerful and friendly. The hotel is just off the main square so nice and handy for the restaurants, the Menin Gate and the main museum. Bike...

We've just spent a couple of nights here while touring round Belgium, and the place is everything the others have said. It was really easy to find, easy to find a parking space outside (though you do have to pay for parking during the day) and we got checked in quickly by a very friendly receptionist. Our room was on...
