Villa Vanilla is in a typical Flanders house with a lovely garden. The rooms are comfortable and all en suite. It is comfortably appointed. It is neat and clean. The owner is helpful and friendly. It is a short drive away from Memen gate.
We arrived late, soaked after a grueling journey on a motorbike. We were made so welcome, given a cuppa and cake, shown to our room and given a lift to the Menin Gate. The bed was so comfortable and the breakfast out of this world....More
First appearances can be misleading. I had misgivings when I knocked on door but these quickly disappeared. The host and hostess were very friendly and welcoming. The facilities were excellent and we had a free run of the downstairs kitchen.

My daughter and I will be arriving in the early afternoon on Sunday, May 3, 2015. How far a walk is it from the train station? Also, are there tickets available to Flanders Fields Tours/Museum through the front desk?

It is half hour walking from the station to the B&B
