My son and I had a good three days here in were very well looked after by Greet and Peter who cooks a proper scrambled/boiles/poached eggs for breakfast. The rooms are quite simple but clean and shower etc all worked well but our bathroom / WC were open plan - I prefer a door. There us a quiet garden with... More

Breakfast was nice: meats, cheeses, museli, yoghurts etc. Room was fine, although the toilet is open plan within the bedroom so make sure you don't have a curry! The free parking is about 10 metres from the B&B and the town square is a 5 minute walk away. Great value.

I just finished a ten day stay at the Demi-Lune while working on a World War One project. It was my second stay there and it fits my needs perfectly. Located close to all of the main Canadian memorial sites, with free parking just a few meters away, it is very conveniently located. I cannot say enough good things about... More

Peter was very welcoming. This is the second time I've stayed here, as it's so lovely and convenient for the town centre. The rooms were great and the breakfast was good. Peter is very knowledgeable and his advice was very helpful.

Very helpful and welcoming staff, particularly Peter the proprietor, who provided consistently invaluable and comprehensive advice to enhance our visit. His Grandfather and Great-Grandfather were stonemasons who carved the Menin Gate lion - commemorated by a picture in the dining room. Location is 5 minutes walk from the Menin Gate and Central Square. Free on road parking is available within... More

Arrived here mid-afternoon to a very warm welcome from Peter, the owner. He was very friendly and a good source of information about Ieper. It is a very easy walk to the centre of town and Meninpoort from here. The rooms are large and comfortable. They have an interesting bathroom within the room that worked really well for me staying... “There are rooms on 1st and 2nd floors so if you are not so nimble ask for the 1st floor.”

“Rooms at the rear of the property maybe a little quieter. We were on the street side, hence with the cobbles on the road surface if you were a light sleeper you may find it a little noisy.”

“All the rooms are large, perhaps the ones at the back are quieter but the Demi Lune is situated on a side street so not busy.”

“If one of your party has mobility issues then see if you can get a room on the first floor. There are no lifts with it being a B&B. Otherwise I can't see you would have any problems. I would certainly go back.”
