This hotel was definitely one of the best!! Had a group of 23 and we all enjoyed the stay!! Great staff, great food and definitely worth the money! It's only rated 3 stars but must say its service Etc is defiantely more than 3 stars! Food is great! A chef cooks different types of dishes in a large wok in...

Just come back from an all inclusive family holiday. - Fresh food cooked everyday. You get different fish and meats from the grill area. And a chef cooks from a wok which is different everyday: Paella, chicken curry etc. The food can get repetitive after, but if you try different things everyday the all inclusive is worth it. You also...

A first class hotel with very friendly and hard working staff, from reception through to the maids. Food was of outstanding value and choice, and available all day more or less. The only two things that we found a bit off putting was, no entertainment and you had to travel by bus or taxi to get to a town or...

Found bus service very good (stop outside hotel) and we walked (15 minutes or two bus stops) to Olhos d'Agua beach as well as using the Praia Maria Luisa...

We had a lovely break at the Balaia Mar Hotel. We chose not to go for the all inclusive option, preferring not to be tied down to specific eating times. Drinks were quite expensive if you were not all inclusive, but I suspect this is the case in any of the hotels around the area. Being that we could walk...

We have just returned from a weeks holiday at the Balaia Mar Apartments, which we booked around 6 weeks ago. We booked 2 all inclusive studios and when we arrived had been upgraded to a 2 bedroom apartment (both of our rooms) which were very spacious and very well equipped. They were cleaned and towels changed every day. The location...

Accommodation basic however very clean and spacious . Food and drink excellent and plenty of it. Pool lovely and clean and always lots of sunbeds with shaded areas when required.Reception extremely helpful and always willing to go the extra mile to assist us. Would definitely return with or without kids. Very quiet at night no entertainment.
