It's a cool hostel with a great terrace. With its central location everything is easily accessible. The plan was 2 nights, finally we stayed 4. The staff is very friendly and also operates the restaurant next door. There are special dishes which are delicious. Must try.

The people who run this hostel put all there love and soul into the place. We both agree the beds are noisy but its a hostel guys. Go pay 50 euros a night and then you can expect to not come across little things that annoy you like this. The rooftop terrace is so beautiful and breakfast was good enough... More

One of the worst hostels I've ever been to. Beds were dirty, sheets were full of hair and little insects, everything was so dirty in that room. The price is not even so low, considering that sleeping in those beds was like a nightmare, and breakfast is not even included, Moreover beds are extremely noisy, you can't even move without waking... I booked this hostel last month and they sent me an email cancelling my booking cause they had an inspection and they had to close down the building. They had debit the full amount of the booking from my card anyway, I'm still trying to get my money back but they don't answer my emails or the phone. I wouldn't... More

When booking at lagos escape try and get in the private rooms. In a different location closer to the beach its a great vibe and the night watchman Paulo is awesome and very helpful. With only 5 rooms in the private housing spot its great for drinking before you head out and cruising during the day (we had a good... More

We were a couple so had one of the private rooms in a different location to the main hostel. Luckily we had the room with an ensuite which included the rooftop terrace. Good kitchen which we shared with two other private rooms. Hostel management were very helpful when our booking got mixed up and were very accommodating. Omelettes for breakfast... More

Really cool place to stay as its very central yet far enough away from the noise of the bars if you decide to have a night off partying then you can get to sleep ok. The only noise is in the morning from school kids which isn't great if you are hungover. My 4 bed dorm room was 20€ which... More

We stayed overnight at Lagos Escape Hostel on our way to Aljezur. Having read such positive reviews on this forum I was a little disappointed. The hostel admittedly had a prime location, however it was definitely nothing special. The rooms were cramped, and the sink in the room was broken and leaking. The showers were pretty poor with a urinal... More
