My husband and I visited Loule for Carnaval and couldn't believe this hotel wasn't sold out... let alone that it was so cheap! We had a lovely stay. The front desk staff was incredibly welcoming. Parking was included (very helpful during a time when the city is absolutely packed) and the breakfast spread was top-notch with great variety. The rooms aren't quite as updated as they appeared online, but ours was still comfortable. If we're ever back in Loule, we'd definitely stay again!
Loule is a great town, and this is one of the few larger hotels there. Most others are guest houses. This hotel has a lot of rooms but feels peaceful, especially at this time of year (Feb). We have a room on the corner so there is a great view over the town. Lovely staff and a breakfast to die for. No evening meal but staff recommend places, especially good Portuguese cuisine places. Good looking pool and lounging area on 4th floor, but not heated apparently. Plus a gym.
This was a return visit following an initial visit almost two years ago.In the interim the hotel has undergone refurbishment such that whilst on my last visit the shower was in the bath, this time there was an excellent walk in shower. In addition, as well as the existing roof top pool and sundeck there is now a well equipped gym.I also noticed that the breakfast buffet has substantially improved with a great selection of fresh fruits, breads and cold meats as well as hot dishes.I was also very happy to pay an additional €4 a day for a morning tea tray with a good selection of teas and fresh milk.Last but not least, the very best thing about the hotel is that out of season ,at least ,the hotel is fantastic value given the quality of the room and the services which the hotel provides. …
There are many reasons to write a positive review for this hotel. Here are just a few -- The hotel staff is friendly and accommodating. The front desk is open 24 hours. The lobby has comfortable couches and a warm fireplace, making guests feel right at home. The hotel offers a great breakfast with a variety of foods, pastries, fresh juices, and coffee. The rooms are clean and comfortable. My room was on the third floor with a large window that I could open and look out over the town. I enjoyed my stay here very much.
