The breakfast has a lot, but again not so much...The wifi was very bad overall i would not choose the Hotel again due to fact that the wifi is as bad as it is. These days you need to have a good connection is as normal as sleeping ;-)

Faial resort hotel is older but kept in good condition AND old styled but clean. I would definitely return and ask again for sea view room. Internet does not work in all rooms, kind off disappointing in these times.

This hotel is simply mediocre - really old furnished and designed, and poorly maintained (room wasn't clean enough). The room was intensely dark and the outside lightning just wasn't enough- and I really felt like I'm back in the 80s with the design. Bed had tiny pillows and was utterly uncomfortable. I was during the winter time and the hallways... More

Very nice and friendly staff. Easy to walk everywhere around, easy to park and a good Spa and views. Needs renovations in the toilets and the matresses even do are not old, have a really bad quality. The breakfast it´s ok, but boring and misses fresh fruit juices. The wify in the rooms is really bad or inexistent.

As others have said, this hotel has a good location, but is in need of tlc. Beyond the fact that the decor is dated, it's just grubby. On arrival our bath had hair and random dirt in it. The tub itself was grey with age and frankly stank of mould. The fittings were all a bit mouldy.probably because there is... More

This resort hotel is quite large for Horta. The facilities include a small gym, indoor and outdoor pools, spa. The restaurant offers buffet or Ala Carte. As well as the main building there are also separate villas with 8 rooms, some with a small terrace. The pool and restaurant overlook the sea with views to Pico.

We stayed here for three nights. To start with the positives: - Good location right in the town centre. - Great view of the harbour and Pico island (providing you have a sea view room). - Nice pool areas both inside and outside. - Friendly staff although not all speak English. What we felt should undergo major improvement: - Rooms,... More

This hotel has a lovely view over Pico and is a 1 min walk to the centre of Horta. The staff is friendly, luggage service was excellent. The rooms were outdated, beds a bit hard and the room was in need of some renovation. Refrigirator available at the room. The downside was the old faucet at the shower, so you... More

We stayed a week in this hotel. Positive points: Good location Very good breakfast buffet Friendly personnel Negative points: Rooms are not 4* rooms, just average rooms in an old school look. We waited long time to have our baggage, and finally we decided to go to the reception to bring them by ourselves. The housework is made every day,... More
