Staying at Quinta de Santa Barbara has been the perfect place! We were traveling with a 2-year old who also immediately felt home. Staff is very friendly and professional. The infrastructure is fantastic...
We didn't spend much time here but would have been happy to do so. Comfortable bed, ample room in the apartment, outdoor seating, pool, and on-site restaurant. Very modern decor. Short drive or long walk to downtown...
The hotel has free parking, free wifi and complimentary water and local soft drinks daily in mini bar.
Overall great experience....rooms and baths are little tight though....great breakfast menu...great staff, very nice locations and views from balcony to marina, convenient location from PDL airport and taxi ride
First of all, the stay was very good. There was airconditioning in the room, a window with a view of the atlantic ocean and an average but very fine breakfast (most of the time the fruit was awesome, especially the...
I stayed at Hotel Arcanjo for 8 days. First the hotel has great value for money. The location is very good for those who do not want to stay in Ponta Delgada. Lagoa is also very well connected to all sides of the...
My today Husband and I struggled so much to find the right location for our wedding party of 50 in the beautiful Island of Sao Miguel. We are living in Dubai but we want to spend our wedding day with family and friends in Azores. During months we tried to come to an agreement with one popular Hotel in Furnas, suffering from delayed or missing replies and lack of communication, to finally find ourselves without Hotel to stay and place for the Ceremony at 4 months to the scheduled date. We were closed to cancel the entire project. We were done, honestly. In a last desperate attempt to find a solution, we found the name of Lisa Ringelberg on the internet ring7lisa@hotmail.com SHE SAVED US. Within weeks, she did find for us this magnificent hotel that is SUL (at the moment was still under construction) and assure us that was going to be ready and beautiful for the time of our wedding. She did find for us the most competitive Catering Company owned by Eduarda and his husband (impacto.gd@gmail.com); organized the ceremony at Gardim Jose do Cantos and provide all of us with extra activities like wale watching and trekking tours. She's magical and if you contact her you won't regret it for one second. From the first moment we arrived at el SUL, the team and the owner of the Hotel were attentive and caring. The rooms can't be more beautiful, stylish and comfortable. All my family and closed friend could't believe how gorgeous the place was. The view is spectacular, the pool is always 100% clean and the service is always focus and respectful. We can't thank them enough for the awesome experience we had and we can't wait to go there again next year. Much love for you, SUL. Well done.…
We have been coming to Sao Miguel every year for the last 20 years. A flight delay meant we did not arrive until almost 2.00am but a security guy was expecting us and opened the electric gate to the car park and showed us to our room. Our first morning was started by opening the curtains to look out at our own terrace and plunge pool and to the ocean beyond. A brief stop to register at reception before we enjoyed a breakfast in a well-appointed room with more ocean views. Breakfast was available from 8.00am - midday so plenty of flexibility depending on your preference. No meals or drinks are available at other times, which needs to be taken into account, but plenty of local shops, bars and restaurants nearby. Our room was fantastic with a large, comfortable bed and a modern en-suite bathroom and even an outdoor shower if you wanted to bathe "al-fresco". A small kitchen area is included with tea/coffee making facilities, fridge and microwave if you decide to prepare snacks in your room. The staff were all very helpful and keen to please. We had a very enjoyable stay.…
The island of Sao Miguel in Azores is simply breathtaking. Our stay at Sul Villas & spa was incredibly serene and blissful. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a picture perfect exclusive experience. The staff here take great pride of their property & call it their baby. The rooms are generously proportioned with private patios where you can enjoy a picnic & wine. The infinity pool is just the right cooling temperature in the hot summer sun. Enjoy a dip in the plunge pool while listening to the church bells ring. Loved experiencing a taste of heaven touching earth today ❤️
