The room, bathroom, wifi and breakfast were absolutely fine. I did, however, feel that the Reception staff could have been friendlier - i.e. more smiling and acknowledging of guests, etc. The hotel is a formal one, but formality doesn't preclude a smile.

Looks better in pictures than in reality. Sauna was not working and when asked to have it fixed answer was a rude no... Gym has only cardio machines. Restaurant on site is good. Free parking for customers is a nice plus.

We stayed here in late Sept 2016 . The hotel is on the edge of the main square of the new town a short walk to the old town - so the location is perfect. The hotel is high up on flat level ground surrounded by greenery and trees. The traffic noise was not a problem - it gets quiet...

This Hotel sits up high on a promontory. It has very pretty plants and grounds, kept up immaculately. The beautiful Rossio tile intersection is nearby , As well as a lovely church that sits up very high too, providing nice views.

The Grau Vasco in Viseu is a good hotel. The reception staff area tad formal I’d say. There’s free wifi hereto be had as well, The air con and plumbing both work, hurray! Problems for some, one assumes On arrival it’s day at the races. As there are twice as many rooms As hotel car parking spaces. My blue badge...

The front desk staff were not at all welcoming when we arrived - just complained about the heat! We saw them again an hour or so later, when they asked us to move out car out of the disabled parking space (where it was legitimately parked) to allow a coach to park. Then, come Saturday morning, we were woken up...

This Hotel was a charm , from the front desk staff to the chamber maids, the rooms were modern with WiFi and flat screen TV with enough English TV channels to keep you happy, air-conditioning and a good view. Beds were comfortable , and the rooms were very clean . There was a fridge with water supplies and they were...

We spent one night here with a tour group. We weren't in town much but the location was excellent as far as we could tell. The hotel is ageing (like me!) so could do with some TLC. Service was very good. Breakfast was very good. Wi-fi was very good.

We stayed in Grao Vasco hotel just one night during our trip around Portugal with Trafalgar. The hotel is very well-located downtown close to the Tourist centre and main attractions. There were lots of good restaurants around hotel area. At the same time, the hotel itself looked outdated. Our room was clean and had old furniture, very old and hardly...
