When we read the reviews on Tripadvisor we didn't really know what to expect. For a three star hotel it has an incredible location, yes the rooms are a little dated and nothing too special, but for the price, the view (definitely recommend sea view), and the rooftop pool area, we were impressed! The breakfast was perfectly fine also, not...

When we visited Cascais for our honeymoon we decided that if we were to return we would stay in this hotel. It has the best possible location in the resort overlooking the main beach and within easy walking distance of the whole town. The front of the hotel has individual balconies for each room which are perfect for those looking...

The hotel occupies one of the most prominent positions in Cascais - directly opposite the bay and the small beach. The hotel had everything you would expect - good size rooms with big balconies - a swimming pool and sun terrace on 5th floor and good food in its restaurants. Two minor complaints are the irregularity of bar service on...

My wife and I had decided on a totally different location until we found Cascais. The hotel is right on the harbor with a very nice beach attached. The rooms are a bit dated but the location makes up for it. We lucked out since the next day Sat. was the Red Bull challenge where every contestant builds some kind...

Overlooking the beach while at the same time in the middle of town are two hard boxes to tick in terms of location for many hotels but hotel baia managed just that. We stayed here for a week at the beginning of August. Upon arrival we were greeted by the friendly reception staff who were keen to assist is with...

Stayed here for 4 days last week and I can't fault the place. Basic rooms but amazing location. As long as you know what you are getting and are prepared for that then you will have a great time. Lovely staff, great location & clean. We had a beach facing room with a balcony which is a must! Having the...

You can't beat Hotel Baia's location right across the street from the beach and near lots of cute shops and restaurants. The rooms themselves are just decent and have a bit of a musty smell (probably due to being right across the street from the ocean) but the balconies and sea views make up for that in my opinion. Good...

A decent place to stay in Cascais. I don't think they have a lot of competition in terms of large hotels because we didn't come across any other big ones closeby. The location is great and in walking distance from the train station. All staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. Our room was large though average....

We have just returned from a week at this hotel . Disappointingly , we did not have the sea view that might have made this a five star rating but the hotel was busy so could not be helped . The room was quite nice and had been done up since the last time we stayed here 5 years ago...

We only stayed for a night, but it was more than enough! I had chosen this place after reading this site's comments and i'm seriously disappointed. There were BUGS in our bed, plenty, and we discovered them when we where almost asleep as they started to climb by us. The receptionist just gave us another room with an ashtonishing indifference...

This is the first time we have ever seen this in the more than 50 years that the Hotel has been open. We take these matters very seriously and a certified pest control company was called in immediately to erradicate the problem successfully. Bedbugs are parasitic insects that feed predominately on human blood and are brought into hotels on the...
