#6 of 14 B&Bs / Inns in Estoril
The Luxury Suites by Engy are housed in a unique mansion imbued in the 1950s architectural contemporaneity glamour, where each individually and elegantly designed suite provides direct exit to the garden. The 15 meters long swimming pool features a jacuzzi and will indulge you with its clear blue waters and infinity edge. The garden with tropical vegetation creates an absolute Zen atmosphere. The story of this House begins with the first owner. It is said that he was very friendly to Ian Fleming (the creator of James Bond), when both were here in Estoril in 1941, with Sir John Godfrey. During the II war they visited Miami, having both been influenced by the Art Deco architecture. The truth is that Fleming was inspired by the espionage and glamour environment that lived in Estoril to create James Bond and later build the Goldeneye house in Jamaica, and Adam Hughes built this house in Estoril. Engy Estoril reveals the owners' passion for charm, tranquility, design, art and detail.

My family including our 2 children ages 10 & 12 spent the last week staying in the beautiful Engy Estoril. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the beautiful pool and our excellent hosts. Miguel was always on hand to give us advice and help. The studio was spotless and well serviced as was the pool area.We were helped so much with information on the area with fantastic recommendations. We look forward to visiting Engy again and we will be recommending Engy to our friends and family.

Our apartment was wonderful ... clean, well equipped and in a fantastic, peaceful setting. The owners, who live on site, were extremely welcoming and generous ... always on hand and helpful if there was anything needed, yet provided space and privacy for a very enjoyable holiday. In addition to the little bottles in the bathroom and water in the kitchen, as you often find in properties, there were several other welcome items and daily extras. It was about a 15-20 minute walk to the beach or to the railway station, providing very easy and inexpensive access to Lisbon. We purchased Lisbon cards for access to many museums, buses and trams, and these actually covered the journey to and from Estoril. There are a number of reasonably priced restaurants and a small supermarket between the apartment and the station. We have no hesitation in recommending a stay at Engy Estoril - Luxury Villas and would happily stay again!

Miguel and his family run an amazing location that cannot fail to revitalize you. From the amazing pool area to the private yet expansive nature of the rooms - you will not be disappointed. Only a stones throw from Estoril Casino, the beach and restaurants - you will not be short of things to do, Miguel has a library of excellent recommendations. Make sure you ask him about the history of the property - you wont be disappointed.

This has been my first time visiting Estoril and my first time in Portugal as well. During my business trip to Estoril, I was fortunate enough to call Engy Estoril my home away from home for an entire week. I was welcomed with open arms - thanks to Miguel and Rita, who are the owners of this beautiful oasis and as soon as I stepped into my single room/apartment I felt a relaxing and calm presence. The interior gave a very antic, but modern vibe that I love love love. As you can see, I fell in love with the dining furniture. The shower/WC has a view to the sleeping area and to the garden outside. Many times I spent taking a relaxing shower and looking to the greeneries outside. Working in events can be a very tiring occupation and this place was my safe haven during that time. Once you step into the drive way you are greeted by an oasis of Asian bamboos and a garden area with a pool. The entire feel of this place was very much according to Feng Shui and was given much thought in considering the vibe and combination of furnitures. I believe the family also owns their own furniture and clothing store in Cascais, which unfortunately I did not have time to visit. This place helped me unwind during my stressful week and it did felt like home. Definitely worth a visit!!
