We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Alvorada. Our family room was huge! The hotel is clean, the location is perfect and the staff are very friendly. Extra care given due to Covid-19 pandemic, just as anywhere else in Portugal.

The staff is wonderful and very helpful. The hotel is in need of an update but very clean. I’d recommend this location because it’s near a train station which runs alone the coast. I was riding a motorcycle and needed help find a fast maintenance shop, the staff was very prompt in helping me find that shop.

I needed somewhere to stay before moving on to Lisbon for a business trip. This was just what I needed. By shopping around I got a room for £35 a night and stayed for 2 nights. Comfy beds and everything was clean but lacked some of the facilities you’d expect in a room these days like a kettle, ironing board etc. Had I paid full price I’d have been disappointed but I got good value. Short walk to the train station and beach. Cafe vani on the right as you walk down to the station does an excellent breakfast roll and coffee deal as the reports of the hotel breakfast are not good.

We disappointing experience. For business traveler basic things missing: hangers missing from the room, not even one ironing board available in the whole hotel, part of the breakfast tables dusty, very limited healthy breakfast options etc. I felt sorry for the staff. With small improvements this hotel could be a lot better. Very difficult to give feedback to unvisible management. Sorry, I’m not able to recommend this hotel to anybody,

Not a pleasant choice, the mattress is old, no comfort at all, the pillows are like a rock. This aint a nice place to stay, if you really enjoy a good quality sleep. The breakfast is small, but well its 3 star, can't ask much more. If you are wondering, to park your car, their park is small and almost always full, outside is paid, until 2 am, from monday to sunday. The AC is terrible and not healthy at all, due the filter not being changed. They use carpets, so people with allergies aren't welcome. First and last time here.
