If you are looking for a 5 stars hotel with a pool and massive breakfast buffet, like the comment below, you will be disappointed. It is hotel, yes, but within a religious house. So you will have the comfort of a hotel with the peace and sobriety of a religious house. Dominican sisters run and own the place. Rooms are...

Well if you find it charming that with every small movement your bed sounds like a bridge collapsing and you do not mind that your hear your neighbor putting on his socks, then this is your hotel! We were not so amused to say the least, it was bad and it is beyond me that people find this good, or...

The location is excellent. Just a few blocks from bascillica. The room is very simple but comfortable. The evening meal was 10 euros with one meal choice and included dessert . Took a taxi from train station to hotel. To far to walk with suitcase. Remember to borrow one of their little stools if you're going to mass and rosary...

Step inside to a place of peace in contrast to the hubbub in the square. Located only minutes walk from the main square and all chapels, this is an ideal place to stay as a pilgrim. Decor is beautiful and room was large and comfortable. Wifi access was good as was the food. Receptionists and sisters were friendly and welcoming.

I stayed here during my visit to Fatima in September. It was the best place to stay at. It is quiet and friendly and makes you feel at peace. I went there by myself and the ladies there automatically took me under their wings. They are lovely and kind. Unfortulately Fatima is filled with "marketing exercises", companies that try to...

We had their Bacalhau noodles and it was good. My wife think it is a little bit on the salty side but I think it was perfect. Their is also a bar by the entrance where you can get a cup of after meal Espresso. Servers were friendly and their senior Dominicanas sister, who ran the place and greeted us...

We decided to visit the Fatima Shrine with the family and found this place in the internet. It is run by the Dominican Sisters and has that touch of quite life that you are looking when visiting the Shrine. It is 5 minutes from the Basilica and the personnel was very good and attentive with us. The rooms are very...

Stayed here on my visit to the Sanctuary and there could be no better choice as I looked up the neighbouring hotels out of curiosity. Selected this hotel through Tripadvisor Forum. Suzele at front office is excellent to contact as she is very fluent in English and that made it easier. Room was compact but complete with a TV included.Bath...

I go to Portugal very often and every time I visit the Sanctuary of Fatima. This time (January 2014) I planned to stay longer and after some research I decided for Casa das Irmas Dominicanas. It could't be the best choice. Excellent location, just 10 minutes or less to the Sanctuary, The rooms are very clean, friendly and professional service....
