Baixa, Rossio & Restauradores
A pending candidate to become a World Heritage Site, Lisbon's downtown (the "Baixa Pombalina", or simply "Baixa") is a perfect example of anti-earthquake construction, having been rebuilt following the 1755 earthquake by the famous Marquês de Pombal (hence its name). Its offer is vast: restaurants and cafes in Rossio and Restauradores, outlets and shops in the Áurea, Augusta, Prata and other famous streets, the imponent Praça do Comércio and its Arch, the luxury shops along the Avenida da Liberdade, this is the beating heart of the city center. The Baixa also grants easy access to trains leading to Sintra, the trams that go around the Castle hill, old neighborhoods or even take you to Belém, and Lisbon's traditional restaurants and cafes. Considering a visit to the Fashion and Design Museum (free entrance) and don't forget to try the famous liquor, "ginjinha"!

This hotel knows how to go above and beyond for their guests. After being closed for 2 months due to Covid-19, me and my colleagues were their first guests after the reopening. Not only did they master the Covid-19 procedures perfectly but they were still able to give a personalized service and made us feel at home away from home. Having breakfast in the restaurant or in the safety of our own rooms, the choice was up to us, helping with finding out which shops were open and which were closed, nothing was too much to ask for these kind people. The room was clean, all single use items wrapped in plastic, masks and handsanitizer tissues available to use when leaving the room. A warm family hotel with amazing staff, I can highly recommend staying here and can’t wait to visit again!

First of all I want to emphasize that this is a wonderful hotel that deservs all the superlatifs! For all what it gives you I think is not expensive at all and gives you high return to every penny. Something unexpected brought me and my wife to CorpoSanto Hotel. My sister from Argentina (75 years old) was traveling in Lisbon by her own and staying in this hotel. She fell down while visiting the city and was hospitalized by ambulance and went into a serious surgery. The hotel was advised. As soon as they heard it they took care of her, phoned me to Israel where I live, and until I arrived and also after, they visited her every single day, bringing her to the hospital all what she needed and more (flowers, cake, food, personal efects, etc.) and called me every day to inform about her situation. I want to thank the whole staff that since we arrived they asked about her all the time and received her after leaving the hospital with all the honors. Very specially I want to thank to Pedro Falcao, the "ambassador of the hotel" and guide for their free walking tours for the guests, for visiting her all the time and doing the outmost in order to help her and us. This hotel is excellent in all the possible parameters (bedrooms, service, location, team, breakfast, restaurant, etc) and gives you much more than what you expect making your stay very pleasant and unique. Even in the sad circumstances that we stayed in it we enjoyed every minute. It' s not obvious at all that even a 5 star hotel takes care of a guest that had an accident in such a "human and family way". Thank very much Pedro and thank you to the whole team. We won' t forget you!

We stayed at this hotel during COVID and were really impressed by their high standards of sanitation. There were sanitizers everywhere, hand wipes in our room, snacks in the lobby were individually wrapped, and all staff had masks on. Very friendly staff and a beautiful and clean hotel. This is not our first time here and we are definitely coming back again.

Dear bogland, Greetings from Lisbon! We appreciate very much your interest regarding our very famous Corpo Santo Walking Tours. Regarding your own questions, the Hotel provides two complimentary Walking Tours with different itineraries. In the Morning Walking Tour (departs at 10:30am), the circuit takes aprox. 2 hours tour and it is steep. Together we will be going up near by the Saint Jorge Castle. So, we start by walking near by the Tagus River, and then we are going up and visit the inside of Saint Anthony Church, the interior of the Cathedral (Sé) nearby Alfama neighborhood. Then we continue going up and we are going to pass in 3 viewpoints (Santa Luzia viewpoints – we visit the two; and then the Portas do Sol view point). After that we stop near the Saint Jorge Castle, but we don’t enter the castle. At this point if you wish to visit it, you can do that by your own. If not, you can continue with us straight to the Roman Theatre that was discovered 220 years ago. In the afternoon walking tour (departs from the Hotel lobby at 04pm). This circuit will be more easy and therefore more flat than the morning one. On this one we are going to start by going to Chiado neighborhood where we are going to visit a very old book shop called “Livraria Ferin” and then we continue towards Baixa neighborhood. Over there we visit Rossio square and over there the Saint Dominic’s square. We pass also in some fish in a can shops along the way for you to try them. The two of them are very distinct and very interesting. During these walking tours if you think that it is to much for you, you can always call a taxi or an Uber. Looking forward to welcome you with us in a near future, Warmest regards from our sunny Lisbon, Joana Melo Guest Service Manager
