We had a very short visit at The House on our last night in Portugal before flying out so we did not get to fully take advantage of its benefits. The terrace is great and has a wonderful view. However, we stayed in the Library and that room has a bad sewage odor coming from the bathroom. Everything was clean...

My partner and myself stayed from Sunday 24th until Wed 27th April. She booked it as a place we could use as a base for exploring Lisbon which its ideal for. We where greeted by Pedro on arrival with a really friendly welcome. Who sorted out all the usually arrival details straight away, and then set about making sure that...

we spent with the whole family 3 days in the house. Absolutely fascinating stay.. The B&B is on the 4th and 5th. floor in a classical portugiese quarter of Lisboa. You feel like a part and not like a tourist. The rooms are modern styled with a warm atmosphere. The rooms were perfect cleaned. Breakfast is comprehensive and very tasteful....

We stayed 8 nights here after having been recommended by a friend a couple of years before. We were in the Dressing Room - large double bed, big wardrobe, small ensuite with shower and a lovely little internal balcony which was good to have a bit more "living room" type place. As others have said, the view from the terrace...

We stayed at the House for two nights and it was just GREAT. Francisco and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. The place is comfy and nicely decorated. Only 200m from tram 28, at walking distance to mot places of the city centre. And the terrace offers an amazing view on the city. Breakfast was very good, with...

Enjoyed 4 days here in the Boys Room. 1st time in ages had a room with a private, not ensuite, bathroom. Found we still had privacy and bath robes were very useful. Comfy beds, good breakfast, quiet neighborhood. Hotel kindly stored our bikes in their garage. Francisco was extremely kind in helping us plan our days. Great location.

Totally endorse previous comments. Francisco the owner really helpful and lots of good advice. Had a room problem which was quickly sorted out. Hotel ideally situated for 28 and 25 trams. Taxi in from airport and back straight forward. Only thing we did not get to do was a Fada (local music) evening. Sao Domingos church stunning. More atmospheric than...

We booked a couple of nights here based on good reviews. Its situation is great: very close to the famous tram 28, almost next door to the Basilica Estrela and a short walk to the Jardim Estrela. It costs less than 6 euros to get into the centre (Praca Restaudores) by taxi and Clube dos Jornalistas (excellent restaurant) is only...

There was a slight mix up on arrival, with the room we’d booked being a twin room despite the website suggesting it could be either a double or a twin. But they moved us to an improved double room with no fuss and the staff were very helpful and friendly throughout. The hotel is a little way from the main...
