This was our 1st stop on our trip to Portugal and Spain. The hotel is quaint, the room cute with a welcoming carafe of wine!! Unfortunately on our 1st morning, I was taken by ambulance to the hospital for medical reasons from the hotel. During my hospitalization, the staff took my friend, Erinn, into their heart and under their wing!!...

The building is gorgeous; lots of character and really romantic. The library and terrace are really beautiful and welcoming. The room was ok- a bit drab, hard bed, questionable carpet, but doable. What was horrible was the NOISE! we had a room adjacent from the kitchen and the sound of dishes woke us up at 4am. After dozing in and...

Our experience at Janelas Verdes was perfect from arrival to departure. We received a friendly welcome at check-in and an upgraded room. Our suite had a waterfront view that was spectacular. The room was spotless, well-decorated and comfortable. Wi-fi was fast and reliable. Our suite had a cozy sitting room complete with complimentary tea, coffee and cookies. Another nice touch...

My girlfriend and I stayed at this hotel for one evening and it was perfect. From the friendly welcome and advice about the city to the lovely room with a view of the river, complimentary Port wine and area to relax - the Library which has a gratis and 'honesty' bar with snacks and drinks. This was all topped off...

We love everything about this small but perfectly formed hotel: the breakfast buffet in the courtyard, the beautiful area downstairs where tea and coffee are always available, the library and balcony on the top floor where you can enjoy a quiet drink at any time of day, and the complementary port in our room - we particularly liked that! This...

"As Janelas Verdes" is a boutique hotel in Lisbon. It is really a gem. Small, very well decorated, nice rooms, wonderful breakfast. The balcony on the third floor offers a good view of the Tejo and the bridge.

My room was on the third floor opposite the terrace. it was very cosy with every possible comfort.
