The location is great. The space is terrific and the quality of the room is great. There is a basement area for pool which was fun for my 19 and 21 year old grandsons. The restaurants that were suggested were terrific. The staff is friendly

Just back from a lovely 4 night stay here in Lisbon. Everything was perfect; clean, nice decor, quiet, all the facilities you would need for full self catering if wanted, and in a fantastic location near restaurants, shops and transport, 5 mins walk to barrio alto. Would love to visit again!

Great service and facilities all the way through. We had flat "t", 60m2, beautifully decorated, and well equipped, the bedroom on the street side but quiet. The living room facing a pretty green wall full of plants. No neighbours upstairs as this was the 3rd and last floor. We had the lift to go up to the 2nd floor then...

We loved Lisbonaire and would highly recommend. The location was perfect - 2 minute walk from the metro station, Restaurodores, on the way in from the airport. One of Lisbon's picturesque funiculars is located 1 minute walk from the Front Door and takes you up to the Mirodouro (Viewpoint) district with great restaurants. It is also a few minutes walk...

I will definitely stay here again if I return to Lisbon! The building is in a great central location and our apartment was spacious, comfortable, clean and very well-equipped. We had notified staff in advance that we would have a baby with us and they provided a cot, baby bath, changing mat, high-chair, toys and a stroller which made our...

If you are looking for a quiet and clean place where you can rest, then this might not be your option. We had a very noisy apartment coming from the street. But the place was big, had a fully equiped kitchen and super good located!

Staying in Chiado & Carmo

Neighbourhood Profile
Chiado & Carmo
The traditionally trendy "Chiado" (literally, "squeak", the nickname of a 16th century poet) offers plenty of cafes, restaurants and bars where you can stop for a cafe or cocktail, after exploring its streets, shops, art galleries, theaters, museums and viewpoints. It's also the home to the statue of the famous statue of portuguese poet Fernando Pessoa, having is usual espresso at "A Brasileira" as he used to. You can also enjoy breathtaking views of Lisbon from the Elevador de Santa Justa or the Carmo Convent, for example. A commercial neighborhood at its core, especially for its Garrett and Carmo streets, Chiado is to this day a mandatory visit in Lisbon.
