My husband and I have just returned after a very pleasant 4 night stay at this charming B&B. A taxi from the airport cost 16 euro. The B&B have a contract with a local company for your return journey. This cost 15 euro which is charged to your bill on check out and the taxi collects you right at the...

We stayed at Casa do Patio for 2 nights in September 2014 with our 6 month old daughter. The location is a bit tricky to find, particularly if driving, although we were provided with good driving directions prior to our arrival. It is well worth parking your vehicle at the recommended parking lot and then walking into the hotel area...

We stayed one night and moved on to Casa Dos Barrio, around the corner. Staff were very helpful and room was clean and comfortable. However, the entrance and outside common area is not nice. This is a turnoff and we were glad it was only one night.

Casa do Patio was a great find. Set in the beautiful, bohemian Santa Catarina it was in easy walking distance of much of the old town as well as easy connections to Belem and Cascais. The team at the B&B could not have been more friendly and helpful, giving great tips, ordering taxis and providing unlimited tea and cakes on...

My wife and I were without a place to stay for our last night in Lisbon...and we're lucky to find this gem in the Santa Catarina neighborhood. Good location, fun apartment, and friendly staff. We wished we could have stayed longer.

We went to visit friends in Lisbon and they recommended us this hotel. It is located in the Bairro Alto so the streets are very narrow around it (if you come by car you have to let it like 3 min walk or more), it is really the atmosphere of the decadent Lisbon. When you arrive the hotel is situated...

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. Great service, people and it's nestled in a quiet neighborhood. Great patio to chill out and plan your next moves. Lisbon is very hilly and this is located on top of one if those hills. We took the metro from the airport and would not do that again unless you are backpacking....

Even the taxi driver had difficulty finding Casa do Patio but it was well worth it. A friend had recommended it and they were spot on. Our room was spacious, air conditioned and clean. On arrival we received a warm welcome and plenty of information about Lisbon and the areas of the city. Breakfast is simple but good quality. Free...

This hotel is located in a beautiful area of Lisbon. Despite all the hustle and bustle outside, the patio area that our apartment opened onto ensured that we had peace and quiet to sleep. The patio was also a nice place to enjoy an outstanding breakfast! We had two young children with us and the staff were very accommodating. Accessibility...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Shiadu Boutique Guesthouses started in 2007 and is a trademark for "refined" guesthouses, combining the provision of comfort and elegance with a customer service completely dedicated to each of its customers. In Spring 2011, Casa do Patio by Shiadu, the third Shiadu guesthouse, welcomed its first guests. "Wow!" Is the first thing you'll say when you come into the patio for the very first time! This is a wonder that you will not easily find because it is hidden and protected right in the heart of the Santa Catarina neighbourhood, 5 minutes walking distance from Chiado, Bairro Alto and the No. 28 Tram to Alfama. It is on this patio, called Patio das Parreiras, that you can every morning enjoy our delicious home-made breakfast, get all the tips and advice on how to uncover Lisbon and relax at the end of the day by savouring some typical Portuguese snacks... For your stay you have the choice of several options that range from a double suite to a family room or even an apartment with kitchen (lodging 2 to 4 people) with direct access to the patio or via one of the nearby buildings located next to the patio. You may be lost for choice when looking at the various options but with regards to customer service at Casa do Patio, there is only one possible option: a total commitment which will offer you a most memorable stay in Lisbon! Follow your instinct and we will be waiting.... ... more   less
