Beautiful hotel - probably one of the most beautiful hotels I have stayed in. However, Service at breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. While the food is good and offers a nice selection, I waited 20 minutes each morning for a coffee, struggled to find a glass, bowl as tables not adequately set and my order when delivered one...

A real, real gem. A very romantic hotel which is a painstakingly restored summer palace hidden away in Lisbon. Ask for one of the pool suites - there is a beautiful sunbathing terrace and swimming pool looking out over the city. An easy walk to the Time Out market and the water.

Delightful old lisbon family palace has been converted into a stylish and well run boutique hotel; Staff are very obliging - nothing is too much trouble - highly recommended - just beware of a long flight of steps if you have a heavy suitcase!

The atmosphere and overall experience of Palacio Ramalhete was relaxing and stress-free from beginning to end. Staff and guests are quietly respectful of one another and service was consistent. The only downside was the breakfast experience - I found it a bit stuffy and awkward as there wasn't music or 'background' noise - guests all speaking in hush tones, wondering...

Stunning hidden old palace with original features, every room is more beautiful than the last. Quiet location, could see the Tagus from our window, could get to all the attractions with ease in an Uber for €4. Staff were cheerful and informative. No hairdryer or kettle in room that I could find and breakfast was sparse continental but nevertheless didn't...

I stayed at the Palacio Ramalhete last September and it was the perfect spot. The hotel is located in a quaint part of Lisbon, and you can walk to other areas of the city quite easily. The pool and lounge area were my favorite part of the hotel. The staff were all attentive and kind. I'd go back in a...

This is a fantastic property with a truly fascinating history. Each bedroom is different, with many interesting features (one of them is in the old kitchen and still has many original features). Service was fantastic: efficient and friendly. Would 100% recommend.

Myself and my husband spent two nights here and we fell absolutely in love with it. The staff are extremely helpful and polite. Our room was beautiful, decorated in keeping with the building and it's history with little modern twists. The food was really good, not everywhere you get such an amazing breakfast. It was a piece of heaven to...

The Palacio Ramalhete is a grand hotel located on the edge of the centre of Lisbon. The location is great if you want to be close enough to the centre to be able to walk there (about 15 minutes), without being right in the middle of the hustle and bustle. The hotel is an on old palace, which has been...

The palacio Ramalhete has perfect interior design, understated luxury and everything you are looking for in a hotel in Lisbon. But the service is not there (yet). Staff needs a little more training probably. Definitely worth staying there. Just a warning for American tourists : do not expect slippers in your room, laundry over night or your glass of water...
